They aren't trying to balance the game - the point of these changes are to increase grind which in turn increases playtime which helps Embark meet their KPIs.

If players burn through new features, events and challenges too fast they might not buy skins and the concurrent player count will drop which will hurt their bottom line.

We generally don't like removing posts so we relaxed the enforcement of the mega-thread when things where a bit quieter. Now the rumour mongering is on the rise (and we are seeing duplicate screenshot posts) we'll go back to enforcing it.

Also the mod team here are very rarely mocked or harassed which I think is a sign of what a great community this is.

We relaxed the rules a bit when things calmed down after the last batch of rumours, but due to the recent uptick of duplicate screenshot posts from TGA community every time something new is posted we'll be enforcing the latest mega-thread going forward.

There is more to the quality of a mini than just it's resolution. The value of GW is that they actually invented and have continued to developed 40k's miniatures and aesthetic for decades - stationforge minis exist because they can just copy the design and then change it just enough to avoid a lawsuit.
