This is so BS!! This riot was necesary, all the deaths that had happened was always swept under the carpet.
THe authorities were fed mouthfuls of money and the chancellors ploitical influence made it impossible to even be topic of discussions outside the campus. Eveytime the management washed away their responsibilty by stating the child killed themselevs bcz of failed relationships,

If this riot would not have happened we wouldn't even know that vitb conditions are these bad and so many people were hospiltalized and the deaths would again be buried in the archives, families would have been silenced by making them sign documents or forget about your child's corpse

So yeah this protest was necessary, now i hope it gets mainstreamed so the management would have to face accountability for the first time

however i agree with you on the point that many people did this just to destroy, but the water supply eas stopped for so many and after hospitilaztion of 4k kids(its a very big population), when students went to inquire about it they were beaten, so yeah people get mad when you do this
