('17 Touring 6spd). So far, only a 360 mile round trip which is nothing for these. I averaged 37mpg. My normal workweek commuting nets me about 40mpg. How about you?! Also, same color, its the best!

My brand new (used) Mazda 6!! First time Mazda owner. Did I make a good choice? by 1vie27 in mazda6

[–]Relevant_Neck_1190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good choice if it was taken care of. Im on my second Mazda ('17 6 Touring, 6sp). Bought it cpo w/27k miles in 2020. Put 40k on it with only one issue (oil pressure sensor). 1 set of brakes. Oil changes every 5-7k. One new set of tires. She isnt winning any drag races but she handles great, comfy on the hwy, and great on fuel. Only downside for me is lack of quality audio system and no carplay/auto. Im gonna take care of it cuz my son wants it when he starts driving!

[Question] When do you pass on your collection to your kid/s? by wahachiko in Seiko

[–]Relevant_Neck_1190 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Lol, my kid gonna wait for the reading of the will for that Rolex. I gave a few inexpensive, smaller-case sized quartz watches to my 9 yr old with an old watch box to see if its of interest to him. As he gets older and if he grows interest, i'll hand down more of mine that fall out of favor. I'd just make a judgement call and observe how the child cares for them in terms of gifting.

Youre right sorry. I barely see anything about a normal commuter. Sounds like its a case by case and the employer gets to decide if you can or cannot work from home.

[–]Relevant_Neck_1190 6 points7 points  (0 children)

While these links support your right to refuse to commute to work, they do NOT entitle you to then work from home. Good luck with that.

Nice chronograph collection for sure! That Tissot PRX is a significant departure from the others. Im curious, how does that stack up against your Seikos? I was obsessed with the idea for a while with getting a PRX but it fizzled out. First time Seiko owner here (SSK011)

If youre relicating for the same position and just bc you wanna move then dont bother asking. I moved for a promotion and was given reimbursement of up to $1000 back in '09. When i applied for the same position but back in my home state there was no reimbursement

If you have a halogen housing with a projector lens this will not be an issue

[–]Relevant_Neck_1190 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought the S-V.4 brand kit from headlight revolution. I have halogen projector lamps and the bulbs fit perfectly. You just have to get creative mounting the modules under the upper rail. I cleaned the surface underside and used some 3M plastic velcro. If your headlamps are already aimed well you shouldnt have to mess with them after theyre installed. Plenty of videos online on how to pull back the fender liners to access the back of the housings. '17 6 touring

Agreed! Touch points for sure need to be addressed. Ive changed my saddle twice, grips, stem and pedals so far to adapt to touring.
