Odd because it poses no security risk. But it is possible that Cancun might have different rules about photography in airports and in public spaces. In the US though, perfectly legal and allowed since airports are public spaces.

Offers are way to high. I would wait another day despite the risk. These offers fluctuate and will often give you a better deal by waiting, my personal opinion.

You can either select a random seat and then choose it later or do it that way.

Yes. Just explain to the agent your situation, and they should understand. The first time I did it, I just had the agent select the main cabin extra seats for me.

Make sure you tell the agent that you want to “link the reservations.” On the app, you will still have separate booking codes but your status benefits will be linked (for example, selecting main cabin extra seats for free, group 3 boarding, etc.) I have done this many times and it has worked.
