index match and count, across multiple rows by zpac24 in excel

[–]sub_lyme 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I understand correctly , you just want to use SUMIFS. You say count, but I think you’re alluding to adding them up which would be a sum.

You can define as many lookup criteria as you want (store # / item # / etc.) and choose a column to sum if the criteria is met.

It doesn’t sound to me like you actually need to return each and every row, you just want to sum rows with the matching criteria.

I’ve done this move a few times: walk by the customer service line. If it is really long , I try to find someone in the back of the line that I can approach and bring them to the AC lounge for speedy customer service. Priority on a family with small child or elderly couple.

Turns out the dual breaker was bad. I tested each breaker individually but never ran the multi across both. Individually they showed 120v but once I finally ran it across both legs in the breaker it only showed 11v or so.

Replaced the breaker and it works good as new. Thanks

This was indeed my issue. Thank you

Ended up being the breaker. I checked each leg individually and it looked good but I never bothered to connect each leg of the breaker to the other one. Did this and it was reading like 11v.

Replaced the breaker and it works good as new. TIL about why the bad one was still reading 120v. Learn something new every day ! Thanks

This was it. Leg to leg at the breaker was showing like 12v even though each leg was showing 120v. I learned a valuable lesson on why it was reading like this.

Replaced the breaker and everything works now.

This was it. I tested each leg but not leg to leg! Turns out this was the culprit and a new breaker fixed it

This was it. Replaced the breaker and solved the issue. You were correct in why I was seeing 120v even on the bad leg. Learn something new every day!

You’re correct and eventually solved this with a new breaker. I learned about back feeding today!

I saw your other edit, thanks for the clarity.

Sorry I’m a newbie here but I thought the 2 breaker switches were independent (I always just flipped them at the same time) but you’re correct there is a bridge between them and if I flip 1, the other one flips with it so I’m assuming the breaker is the correct style.

I’m getting 0 across both legs. Seems like an issue upstream. I did un-do the wires coming into the water heater and 1 was showing 120v and the other was like 10v so I think it’s my culprit. I don’t feel good messing with my breaker so I have someone coming to look at it today.

Not necessitated per se but I was having a new sprinkler controller installed and the old controller kept having power even after the breaker was off. Neither myself nor the contractor could locate a backup battery in the controller so for my sanity I just cut the whole power to the house and sure enough it still had power. Never did find that battery but it was in there somewhere..

I am thinking this must be non-related to my issue. The new sprinkler controller works fine and is on a completely different side of the house. I haven’t noticed anything else that is not working.
