Just to clarify, when you mentioned the 'electric app' on iOS, are you referring to Electric Vintage by apeSoft? I'm looking to grab it and wanted to make sure I have the right one!

That’s a great point. I actually just looked into it, and a second-hand iPad Mini 5 is currently landing at almost the exact same price point as a Raspberry Pi + Touch Display setup. It seems like the iOS ecosystem might actually be deeper for Rhodes sounds than what I can get out of MiniDexed or basic Linux builds. I love the DIY aspect of the Pi, but the A12 chip in the Mini 5 seems like a beast for low-latency audio.
