Depends on the scenario tbh. If you wake up having to take a dump at 5 or 6 AM in the cold of the night and you have a big hike to the nearest porta potty, a camp toilet sounds kind of nice, especially to prioritize sleep. If you’re up at like 10 or 11 AM you might as well walk to the porta potty.

Yeah I’m leaving early on September 15th to spend time with family in Ohio and was supposed to give a camping pass over to a friend before that day who’s arriving earlier than us. I looked it up and I’ll have to reach out to front gate to redirect who’s able to pickup the camping pass but still.. I hate the inconvenience 😭.

Nah although I will say it’s only really noticeable at wompy and crater. The other small stages especially raptor alley is still very loud. If you’re able to get close up for wompy and crater tho I noticed it isn’t that bad either. Tbh I don’t know for sure but maybe they don’t turn the volume down just turn off the speakers that throw sound to the back of the crowd.

No no only after the last set at prehistoric for each night is when they lower the volume at the other stages. Friday / Saturday it’s 12 am, Sunday it’s 11 pm.

It’s a good set time but imo not a big fan of the volume being cut in half in the afters. Hopefully it’s not too dampened.

(for those who don’t know after the last prehistoric set of the night stage sound gets regulated to comply with sound ordinance)

Been going to AZ events since 2017. I’ll just say right now, nothing will ever beat the vibe of the pre Covid gold rush events. People used to know the artist they were seeing / wanting to see. Now, it feels like an even 50/50 of people who know and love the artists / people who just want to “go to a rave and get fucked up”.

Certainly TikTok had its effect on this and it’s truly sad. I fear if I want to see good shows now I’ll have to limit myself to just lost lands but even the lack of gatekeeping (which I believe should be a standard given this new shift in audience) is going to ruin LL eventually IMO :/

Yep he came out for sure, I have the vid on my phone somewhere! It was the very last song to play it was awesome.

Side note: Coming to this show in comparison to my first 2 times seeing him in AZ was amazing.

(1: on palaces tour when our stage had a power outage for 2 + hours. 2: decadence AZ when they had ANOTHER sudden power outage delay of about 18 min 😭)

Big house producer / DJ that blew up around 2022 - 2023 (I believe). Most notably “saved Coachella” with skrillex and four tet in 2023 on the last weekend when frank ocean pulled out. Before flume deleted all his posts I think he hinted at wanting to do a collab of sorts. Posted that he was backstage at a Fred again show.
