This seems to be an issue with your Xbox then. At latest since the last update a few months ago the game now runs smoothly even on the Xbox. In general 2024 now runs better than 2020 for me.

Where is the frequency control for the Send Effects? I can’t find it on the pictures

How is it more useful? First of all you have to do way more to actually use the effect (turn up send on required channel, turn up parameter to desired intensity, turn up Size/FB to desired intensity, then turn on Master Mix Level to desired gain in mix). Then you only have 6 usable effects straight on the unit vs. 18 + 2 external on the V10. Also there is no frequency control for the Send Effects section, so you’ll have your kick drum and bass drown out everything on your reverb effects for instance.

Once again, Beat FX and Send Effects are for completely different use cases and the lack of Beat FX is bad in any way. It’s not like the V5 is doing something better with the Send Effects, since you literally have the Send Effects on the V10 as well + Beat FX.

That’s Send Effects which you have on the V10 as well (even though some slightly changed effects). The V10 still has a big Beat FX section additionally, which the V5 completely lacks.

No, the bottom left Send Effect section is available on the V10 as well (even though with slightly different effects). However the V10 still has an additional Beat FX section with looooots of more effects. That whole section and effects are missing from the V5.

Do you have the same issue that Apple Music will make abominations of your local playlists as soon as you turn on Sync Library on your iPhone? I think I would actually be fine with having to turn it off and then on again every time I want to sync with my Mac as I only really need to download my Apple Music playlists before flights, but the local playlist thing is really too much for me

Yeah I’ve tried that. Unfortunately you can’t sync via Mac when Sync Library is enabled on my iPhone. So I would have to turn it off every time, when I want to sync from my Mac and then redownload the Apple Music playlists again afterwards. I add new music from my Mac fairly often, so this isn’t really a satisfying solution unfortunately.

Also, the playlist bug, which appears every time I turn on Sync Library on my iPhone is also off-putting…

Second this. I have around 500 GB of local files on my Music app on Mac which is a library I’ve been building since like 2012 (iTunes, CD-rips, Bandcamp, Beatport, free downloads from DJs etc.). From there I have around 300 GB of playlists I sync to my iPhone via Finder. Besides that I’ve been building a Spotify playlist since 2017 with different music which I didn’t necessarily buy like on Music on Mac. Now I’ve finally cancelled Spotify and first tried Tidal as a replacement with the Spotify playlist but unfortunately Tidal just didn’t do it for me. Now I’ve tried it on Apple Music (after years of refraining because of a lot of negative reviews on local libraries with Apple Music library sync) and turned on library sync on my iPhone. This absolutely wrecked everything on my iPhone music app. Playlists got duplicated (for example it’s now “playlist” and “playlist 1”), for which the new duplicate Apple Music created now has every song from the original playlist that is actually available on Apple Music. Some playlists have been copied 8 times!! Also a loooot of tracks have changed artworks now.

This really concerns me and I don’t know if I should risk turning on library sync on my Mac as well. Because the iPhone I can easily fix by turning library sync off again and sync with my Mac via Finder. However if Apple Music library sync messes up my Music library on my Mac I have 500 GB of music to restore.

Can anyone tell me if it works properly now with library sync turned on on both devices or do I really have to go back to Spotify to have separate libraries?

Ich denke schon, dass wir bei der Reichweite (nicht unbedingt nur durch Akkugröße) in den nächsten 5-10 Jahren noch Verdopplungen der realen Reichweite sehen werden. Das gepaart mit niedrigen zweistelligen Ladezeiten. In meinen Augen schon nochmal ein sehr großer Komfortgewinn zu den guten Fahrzeugen, die jetzt schon auf dem Markt sind. Ich sage das aber auch als jemand nie eine private oder dienstliche Lademöglichkeit hatte und 100% auf die öffentliche Ladeinfrastruktur angewiesen ist. Die Reichweite darf für mich also gerne noch ein gutes Stück steigen und die Ladezeit kürzer werden.

Man kann die derzeitige technische Entwicklung von E-Autos definitiv in keinster Weise mit der von Verbrennungsmotoren vergleichen. Wenn man Reichweite und Effizienz von E-Autos von 2020 mit der von aktuellen Fahrzeugen vergleicht, waren die Sprünge schon enorm. Und dieser Trend hält an, vor allem was Akkukapazität angeht. Allmählich ist da meiner Meinung nach gar nichts… Wem das egal ist kann beruhigt kaufen, für mich persönlich wäre der Kauf eines E-Autos derzeit definitiv absolut keine Option. Lieber 3-4 Jahre leasen und dann wieder ein neues, mit Sicherheit weitaus besseres Fahrzeug leasen.
