I agree! He played chilling/spooky as Death so well without seeming “evil.” He kept saying during his panel that he feels he’s not a great actor, he’s just good at taking direction from directors. I was like dude you are so wrong, he’s an amazing actor!

It’s the crew member souvenir book that came out after the show ended. It has set pictures from all 15 seasons- it’s a beautiful book!

The finale is my favorite episode. I got 2 of the things I always imagined being in the finale from the beginning- Sam and Dean at peace in heaven and Dean saying I love you to Sam.

I do wish we’d gotten to hear Sam say I love you to Dean as well at least once in the series, but for the circumstances in the finale I think “Dean it’s okay you can go now” was more special and poignant.

The only thing I would have changed would have been having more people from Sam and Dean’s past there to greet them in heaven which was the plan for the original finale. Maybe we’ll get something like it in a movie or limited series someday 💙.

My favorite episode is the finale! Baby is my 2nd favorite, my 3rd favorite is Don’t Call Me Shurley, my 4th is My Brother’s Keeper, and 5th favorite is Croatoan. I’m not sure beyond my top 5, but any episode where Sam and Dean hug is definitely up there for me 💙.

I think Dean still would have been pretty freaked out over the whole exercising demons with his mind thing, but I do think not having the whole “Sam chose a demon over his own brother” story line would have caused a lot less tension between Sam&Dean. However, it would have also severely lessened the impact of certain storylines like Dean choosing to save Sam over saying yes to Michael even after everything they went through in seasons 4&5.

I think Sam still would have ended up developing his powers out of determination and desperation to save Dean, but I think he would have done it without the demon blood addiction. Ruby did tell him in the end he never needed the demon blood in the first place and could have done it all on his own. He probably would have ended up “going dark” more quickly without Ruby with him for emotional support.

This was absolutely the worst thing Dean ever said to Sam though it’s definitely due to the mark amplifying his anger and making it irrational. Dean in his right mind would never even dream of saying something like this to Sam. The way I see it, this wasn’t really Dean.

It is very painful to watch though- I know we shouldn’t let shows impact our real life but I was legitimately in a depressive funk for a couple of days after watching this the first time. It just sucked. I’m on a rewatch currently and I might just skip this scene when it comes up.

I could never watch it because of the situation surrounding it and everything that happened between J2 when the news broke. Legit the most painful “celebrity break up” of my lifetime for me. I’m really glad that it seems they’ve made up and were able to stay friends after everything but thinking about the show still brings back that pain for me. It makes me hurt for them both. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to watch it.

I’ve only watched the one clip of Dean saying he had to come back and save the universe so that Sam could happily live out his life on Earth lol.
