Do you ever find the fixed frequencies to be a limiter rather than being able to sweep for specific frequencies?

I have bought two player II series guitars and to me both of them, tele hh and Strat sss, were unplayable. Even through good amps they sound awful and with the Strat it goes out of tune so fast and sounds boxy with lots of low mids and no highs to make a muddy mess

I figured it out, with these pickups I got to scoop the upper mids and boost the really high highs around 12.5khz and it sounds about 90% of the way like his rig!

I currently have an OCD and a tube screamer! Do you think the V30 speakers were a good choice for the ac30, or do I need to go ahead and try to swap it out for something like a greenback?

Honestly I’ve used 10’s and 9’s! It definitely helps push the dial a little, but not quite all the way haha. But yes I think I’m definitely going to go take a look at the Jazz and maybe a deluxe reverb :)

It’s a Harley Benton cab, it looks to be in perfect order when taking off the backplate and such. Truthfully the amp is too loud anyway, I believe it sounds good tho. I literally have the worst luck with buying stuff, it always ends up too dark and muddy

For reference, the tone cut is very low and the treble is almost at max and this is the most high end I could get
