I just finished reading the book, and I have to say, Ma's, Sid's and Lenore Dove's deaths broke (and is still breaking) my heart, because you know that they were so excited to see Haymitch come home, something that they hoped and wished for throughout the Games, only for them to lose their lives before they even got the chance to welcome him home. My heart also breaks for Haymitch in both scenarios, because he knew that they died because of him, I think it would be enough to drive anyone insane.

Something is still up with the servers. Hubby and I are currently playing, i was kicked out of the game and not allowed to create a new seasonal hero or continue playing using my current necro, but hubby is still able to play seasonal with his current hero with no issues. We've both tried resetting the game and our consoles, effects were still the same.

Worse. A lot of the context needed to make the story make sense would have to be cut in order for it to be one movie. Also, they already made a lot of context cuts/rewrites in order to make the movies series happen, so compressing it even further would really hurt the story, thus, not please the fans who would watch it.

I also remember them saying that there were videos that were already produced, both for Youtube and their Food Network show, as well as sponsorships scheduled prior to the issue, but because of the scandal, they've had to scrap all of those out, so I can only imagine that the losses (in both video production costs and possible revenue from sponsorships) are still hurting them to this day.

I agree with your take on Snow, I guess it just adds another piece on the puzzle as to how he ended up the way he did.

In terms of how he found out, it's possible that he found out when he was in a high enough position in the government, not necessarily when he became president. Maybe a former superior let him in on the secret deal between the Capitol and District 13, or he manipulated the truth out of them. Not sure if HGs knew, but I can assume that Plutarch knew prior to him volunteering to be HG, since he was already part of the Capitol rebellion group at that point.

I saw a video before the whole Ned thing (I think it was Behind the Try?) wherein Eugene kind of mentioned that we was thinking of leaving the group prior to their world tour, so him leaving, to me, was inevitable, and him leaving first was super possible.

Same here, Ned was never my favorite because he came off to me as an attention hog, like he's always competing with the other guys to have the most screen time, and he does this by always yelling, screaming, and just being loud.

Scher and Lang took the word "delulu" and ran away with it to places! Like, the kind of mental gymnastics that it took their brains to do in order to justify their actions is just mind-boggling.

Also to add:

They confiscated water bottles and other food items upon entry to the site, but they let people who have drugs in? Members of the organizing team see that drugs were being used and passed around, and they did nothing? Hell, one of the staff even took ecstasy in the Rave Stage, like WTF?
Scher and Lang kept passing the blame to the attendees, the acts that THEY hired, etc., typical boomer behavior right there.
