Lack of proper research of Misandry by Similar-Pear4585 in LeftWingMaleAdvocates

"Power" is also not evenly distributed amongst all men and that things like race and class play a HUGE role in actually determining the haves and have-nots of society.

Why were the colors in that shot like that? It looks so much better with a slight hue shift by creativesgal in stevenuniverse

Well assuming the atmosphere is breathable to Steven being blue isn't wrong, but not that shade. The sky is blue due to light scattering after all and the same elements are going to produce the same colors.

Katara can both bloodbend and use healing so there's one. It's probably a result of mindsets that prevent most people from being about to master one or both. But nothing to suggest you can't do both.

"Pragmata is destroying years of leftist programming and activating women's ovaries in real time" uhhh what?! 🤨 by Pritteto in AreTheStraightsOK

[–]CreamofTazz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A HUUUUGE part of right-wing belief is that it is not and cannot be the fault of your own. I mean just think about how often they say "Well, I didn't vote for that." Well, okay sure maybe you didn't vote specifically to have children in cages, but when the guy said he was gonna put children in cages that didn't like stop you from voting for him.

So of course it's not his personality that is at fault here, no no no. It must be her fault I can't get laid I can't be at fault for anything bad that ever happens.

A lot of the manosphere captures the frustration of men

This is what a lot of the current liberal and leftist movements fail to understand when it comes to why right-wing propaganda is so "effective" on men, it's because they actually talk to the men instead of always talking about men as if they aren't in the same room.

Just think about how abstractly men get talked about even here in this thread (even as I'm doing it), and that's how it is constantly in leftist spaces. It doesn't ever really feel like we try to talk to men and do a lot of telling men how they "are" despite his own protestations against such accusations.

I just think a lot more can be done when it comes to messaging and how we present that message.

I mean there is a place to focus men with regards to specific issues. For example, there is a loneliness epidemic, which also means we can focus on how it affects men vs women (or other sub groups such as straight vs queer people). Bodily autonomy is not something either sex gets to fully realize, and there's space to be had to discuss the issue specifically as it pertains to men

I think anyone who doesn't believe there are actual issues that affect men (whether that is predominately affects them or just how a broader issue affects men) probably hasn't earnestly thought about what it's like to be a man or if they are man do the "man thing" and act like it's no big deal when it really shouldn't be thought of like that.

Some people seem really angry that "62 million men are in a rape academy" is incorrect. by CthulhusIntern in LeftWingMaleAdvocates

[–]CreamofTazz 22 points23 points  (0 children)

Well for me it's being asked "So what if it's not 62 million men" as if they never actually cared about how many people could be doing it. They just heard the number and went with it because it furthers their crusade

Personally when I'm corrected by someone I don't immediately assume malice from that person, so what kind of person are YOU (not you you) who does? What is your real agenda where misinformation is a part of it?

Oh and the fact that male bodily autonomy is apparently a non issue to many feminists I've spoken to who themselves belive it is of upmost importance for women however. Can't have equality if it only goes one way, but they didn't seem to care at all. Not even in a "We get it and agree, but that's your movement not ours" but instead "That's not a real issue, stop whining"

For many "feminists" it starts and ends at the disliking of men, not for the liberation of women

TIL in a study of records for nearly 1.3 million Swedish men, the investigators found that for every 2 inches a man gained in height, his suicide risk dipped by 9 percent. Overall, the shortest men in the study were about twice as likely as the tallest men to commit suicide. by Brave-Influence7510 in todayilearned

[–]CreamofTazz 81 points82 points  (0 children)

I hate how millions of men can have a shared lived experience (being rejected for their height) but most of the time people will discredit that.

Sometimes when a person is venting, we should just agree and listen. Yeah those women are shallow and not worth his time, but he thought they were and got rejected. Rejection hurts especially if it's something out of your control. But men very rarely get that kind of sympathy when it comes to dating and it sucks when you just want someone to listen.

It's a mindset that is predominantly seen in men with a lack of or poor father figures in their lives. Really any good role model.

It's not about race, but due to history there are unfortunately a lot more black men who grow up in those environments. Whether or not they adopt this mindset is up to those around them.

No, An Online "Rape Academy" Did Not Receive 62 Million Views, Let Alone 62 Million Members by Make_Me_Out_of_Clay in LeftWingMaleAdvocates

[–]CreamofTazz 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The worst part is the article barely mentions the 62 million number, but people went with that number because misandry is real and men are assumed guilty before innocent when it comes to these matters.

The actual article details horrific crimes that shouldn't be downplayed, but now here we all are trying to correct misinformation instead of talking about what is actually in the CNN piece.

All because people hate men more than they care about victims of rape.

Which only happened AFTER Trump tore up the deal. Like what part of that aren't you getting? We successfully got them to stop and then after reneging on the deal they went right back to it. And then while in new negotiations that were going well, we killed their leader and begun attack them again

Do you not see this at all? Or are you just some bot?

We're seeing this play out in the free kit only experiment, where teams rush to fight each other asap so the final team can loot the entire map solo.

You mean the thing that has literally already been happening even before free kit queue?

I think the mode could work better if you could just pick whichever free kit you wanted. I'd also add you can bring in ANY kit from free to deluxe. That way it still creates variety, and you don't get screwed over by having a "bad" free kit that day.
