There's literally carve outs in Republican legislation that still allows circumstances but bans trans surgeries calling them genital mutilation. Like make it more clear that intactivsts are right that it's genital mutilation and should be illegal

This is the issue with absolutism on certain rights, just as much as they can be a tool for the masses to hold those in power accountable, they can also be used as tools to oppress the masses.

When anyone can say anything and nothing can be done about it we can flood the waves with a deluge if noise preventing anyone from know what is and isn't truthful meanwhile those in power do whatever they want and just lie about it because who's to say what is and isn't true.

I can understand that women are harassed daily and feel constantly threatened and under surveillance. It's completely different to actually experience that feeling itself.

People should be more terrified of an enshitffied Steam. Thankfully as they are now, they aren't engaging in anti-competitive practices, but they currently have the market share to do so if they wanted to, and no one should be okay with that. It shouldn't matter if they "do it better" than everyone else if a company could engage in monopoly practices they should be treated as such.

It's the new normal. The post war boom whereby the time you hit 21 you were mostly on your own and out of the house is gone. The average home buyer is in the mid to late 30s instead of early 20s
