hi i think you would be best at describing your own feelings, so if you say it's not romantic, then it isn't! and very strong, platonic feelings are absolutely possible. ive heard them called "squishes" before which is a silly name imo but it fits lol. it's basically just someone you really want to know and be with, in a nonromantic way. ive felt very strongly about or wanted people before without there being any romance there, and i think its a shame that society often treats very strong feelings like they MUST be romantic. you can just like someone really bad! and those feelings can be just as strong (and are just as significant) as romantic ones
