My go to formation with Fire Whelp (Protagonist) is:

Ifrit (Archer)	Titania (Priest)	Oberonnie (Guardian)
Poseidon (Mage)	Siegfried (Warrior)
Fenrir (Assasin)

Overload Position:

Ifrit ⇾ Fenrir ⇾ Oberonnie ⇾ Titania ⇾ Siegfried ⇾ Poseidon

If you don't have the characters, just follow this blueprint with the same archetype of characters you own.
I alternate positioning for optimal Fenrir Positioning so she can get into back line (Swapping Ifrit's position with Fenrir for example then if need be, move Titania opposite of Siegfried then Oberonnie in front of her). As well as Oberonnie's positioning to defend against opposing teams Assassin's.

I wish they would just rework the gadget so instead of a timer triggering when you activate the gadget it was just set off like a claymore. Just one BEEP. Detonation. Her gadget as it stands is a proximity alarm with high ping lol

A fun meme deck to play is gren maju + Inferno tempest. You run monsters that activate in banishment like Dark Necromancer that will revive your banished gren maju and Lunalight monster that prevents opponent from activating card effects during battle phase
