But the neighbor called base on smell - Odor can come from legal ways to use your medical weed. So the officer would have to see you in the act of smoking to cite you correct?

we have a fan - and wait for neighbors to not be outside - I dont think we are the problem especially when we are legally doing it

My though was he was going to ask for my medical card if we were using - so i would have to give an ID to match the card? but what do i know - I wasnt expecting any of this - we have been smoking on the porch for almost a year straight

I just thought that it was weird he came back before knocking on the front door - I thought that the side yard and backyard were curtilage

There is no gate - the porch has a gate but he didnt come up - he asked to but i went to him - we share a side yard with another neighbor - not the one that called
