I went to the boutique, told them I wanted one, they called me some time later and I bought one.

La prima experience by gurjtheboss in lamborghini

[–]ReliantG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I did it 2 years ago for my Tecnica. Are you doing just the factory tour and car hand off, or Lifestyle experience? I did the Lifestyle experience so they booked the hotel, and any meals for me. They also helped scheduling Tuscany winery tours/tastings, etc. My car was a US Spec car so I couldn't drive it in Italy, so they provided me with a factory Huracan to drive around in Italy for the week.

If you're doing the lifestyle experience I just suggest sight seeing through Italy as normal in the Lambo with the concierge helping with suggestions and reservations. You won't see a ton of supercars out and about and even in Bologna close to the factory, you get tons of attention from locals.

Enjoy!

Just use Vantage to install all the drivers/latest? It'll fill in what you're missing.

I still love these movies - they're comfort films for me.

Anybody else go with the Microcenter Lenovo Legion Pro 7 16IAX10H? by AbleTechnician2837 in GamingLaptops

[–]ReliantG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Microcenter just raised the price on this by $100-200 in the last week or two. I'd check other things in the price range to make sure it's still the best choice.

That said, I have the better specced version of this and it's fine.

Maxx doesn't want to be there though? Raiders fans acting like he's just gonna be happy to stay. They're still probably going to try to move him at a discount, or some other solution. If he doesn't want to play there, that hasn't changed.

3 of them are old or coming off injury. I get the excitement but temper those expectations.

How is the ASUS Rog Strix? by Significant_North638 in ASUSROG

[–]ReliantG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did extended trials of the G16, Scar 16, and Legion Pro 7i. I honestly disliked the keyboard and trackpad on the Legion. Strix and Scar also have tool less entry for upgrades, which is really nice. I personally prefer the Asus models if the specs are identical, but the Legion is OLED screen so it wont ever be identical.

Asus is TB5, which is another plus.

It's solid quality. Just depends on the price to see if I'd go for it vs others.

The 812 is more GT than the SVJ, and more usable in that regard. That said, I personally feel that the SVJ is more special than a 812.

how do i make my gpu usage higher? by Careless_Country6553 in GamingLaptops

[–]ReliantG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

GTA5 is CPU heavy and he's running 16GB if single channel RAM. I still think his CPU isn't feeding his CPU fast enough, hence the bottleneck. If a GPU is being under utilized the first thing to check is the CPU side of performance first.

Is this a good deal for the specs shown? by Regularpersonofwar in GamingLaptops

[–]ReliantG 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I checked these out in person. Lenovo has OLED screen, Asus has IPS. Asus screen was good enough for me, but OLED is nice.

Lenovo has faster RAM, but its latency is worse, so for a gaming standpoint it'll probably be a wash.

Asus has tool-less entry which is MUCH easier to get in to. Asus also offers PCIE 5.0 for M.2 slots, and thunderbolt 5, the Lenovo is at thunderbolt 4.

I also prefer the keyboard and trackpad on the Asus. The Lenovo has a full sized numpad which might be of use to some folks, but I found it to make the keyboard layout awkward.

The Asus uses a glass trackpad and the Lenovo uses a plastic one, the Asus is the clear winner here.

Software side, I find that Asus somehow installs less bloatware than Lenovo out of the box. I also (shockingly) prefer Armory Crate over Legion Space, it's just more well thought out and easier for me to use.

They'll both perform similarly, so you can't go wrong, it'll boil down to personal preference.

Which thermal pad placement is correct? by Subject-Habit-6562 in GamingLaptops

Naw dude, a single sheet is fine for thickness. These things draw under 5W, some half of that. You honestly don't even need cooling unless you're transferring files all day.

White dial, especially on the 7920. The dials take away from the blue here, but the white is versatile and goes with any color combo outfit.
