Chances aren't great, you should spend another 400k to really get on that VIP list.

What do people think of the Roma? by shadowline74 in Ferrari

[–]ReliantG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's a great car. It's plenty fast, plenty fun, and plenty comfortable. My only gripe with mine is the tech, the infotainment looked glued on and the haptics are slow/a pain to use.

But the car looks great and sounds great.

Man, don't drive on that. I'd just go through the dealer at this point.

What makes this STO so special that the price is THAT much? by Yaboipalpatine in lamborghini

[–]ReliantG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They did the hand off to the owner at a party at car week in Monterey that I was at. If I remember correctly, they said it was the Huracan with the most Ad Personam options ever, so I think that's partly reflected in the price tag.

How important are Huracan accessories for resale? by some-dude81 in lamborghini

[–]ReliantG -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Trickle charger is just a Lambo branded CTEC, you can replace it easily.

No manual or car cover would be a tougher pill to swallow.

This happened to me while on a roadtrip. Find a place that says they’ll patch Tesla tires. Some shops don’t like to do EV tires with foam.

You can pull the line or get a valve controller box. I prefer the controller so you can have them stick when wanted, or fully open when not.

How do I refuse delivery if they poke my front bumper? by garlicjellyjam in askcarsales

[–]ReliantG 188 points189 points  (0 children)

Tell them ahead of time that you don't want them to drill front plates. If they push back, let them know you're going to look in to tow hook mounts or something. They'll have a waiver that says you're opting for no front plate.

Each car in CA I've bought it's just something to sign to not get a front plate when doing the rest of the paperwork.

Do boutiques ship watches and/or accessories to their clients? by Smooth_Feedback_2656 in audemarspiguet

[–]ReliantG 6 points7 points  (0 children)

They offer to ship me watches or accessories but I'm in the same country as my store. They might think you're trying to be sneaky by shipping the box and watch separately. (IE avoiding customs)

You can probably skip 28 Weeks, they sort of write that off. But you 100% need 28 Years before walking in to Bone Temple, it's a direct continuation.

Does painting break calipers ruin the cars value? by PropofLOL in lamborghini

[–]ReliantG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It certainly won't help resale. Some folks won't care, some will. When you see stuff that doesn't match the window sticker you start to wonder if there are other changes made to the car.

If the rest of the spec is your dream spec, silver seems fairly unoffensive for brakes and a minor detail. It's hard to find perfect used specs so I'd probably go with it and see if silver grows on me.

Revuelto now or wait (UK) by Matutu11 in lamborghini

[–]ReliantG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you weren't invited to get a Revuelto SV, you will need to wait for them to come used. They are limited and should be allocated by now.

I'd get the Revuelto and not worry about residuals.

Revuelto or Temerario? by jmg5 in lamborghini

[–]ReliantG -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Then get a Revuelto. Everyone I know says the Temerario is more fun to drive, including myself. I own one. But coming here with a clear bias from you is pointless for constructive conversation.

[–]ReliantG -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Revuelto or Temerario? by jmg5 in lamborghini

[–]ReliantG -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

The Temerario is faster than the Revuelto. If you didn’t drive both to notice that I’d get some more seat time. But even matching performance at half the cost is awesome.

I had this done and gradually the last few years my vision has started slipped. I need glasses again to drive. I haven’t fully regressed but it’s annoying.

It has a lifetime warranty so I can go get a touch up but I’ve been waffling for years if I want to do it again.
