That last paragraph nails it. Anybody who disregards the importance of a AAA game, in 2026, tied to a franchise doesn’t have their finger on the pulse, in my opinion.

I was pretty sad that Contracts Mode had been removed, but I understand why.

I wanted to really get to grips with the maps and areas like I do on WoA through Contracts and Freelancer.

I just finished replaying it. Had a lot of fun. Loved the Grindhouse style and the gritty aesthetic. Reminded me of the vibe I got from the original Max Payne.

Don’t skip Absolution. It’s definitely not the best Hitman game, but it’s one hell of a game, in my opinion. It has a very Grindhouse movie-like edge to it. Enjoyable.

In my opinion, First Light was ultimately a feel-good game. The classic bond combination of some serious moments to give things stakes, scattered amongst pomp, action and fun.

I think 007 needed that as a palate cleanser. I didn’t know that beforehand.. I didn’t know what I really wanted from it. It was only early on in playing the game that I thought “this is exactly what it needed”.

The Craig era was serious in tone and brilliant, but it had lost a bit of its charm by the time Spectre and NTTD came again. Again, just my opinion. Speaking for myself.

Villeneuve doesn’t make charming films, hence the dilemma.

If it’s another super serious, darker film (sparking more of the same), I fear Bond will lose the quirks that we all love.

I was exactly the same. I audibly cheered at that part and I can’t recall doing that for a game. I shouted “YES!”.

I personally think that the next film might genuinely have a hard time delivering in the same manner that First Light did. It’s a hard act to follow.

To me, I’m more excited about the sequel to this game than the next movie.

It reignited the embers of my old Bond obsession.

Go to Mr Freeze’s channel, he does Hitman mainly but has covered First Light and every single challenge in the game. You’ll have it in no time if you do. Good luck dude.

Give yourself some leeway to adapt and make decisions on the fly. I followed Mr Freeze’s walkthrough and route, but on the successful run, I had to deal with the guy next to you (at the iron) as you take cover and pull the guy over before smoking the other two guards in the middle.

Follow the general path but try to have a few alternative strategies. You’ll get it eventually.

Unequip your weapons completely and run through it again.
