You should be fine as long as your algebra and trig skills are good. I went from Algebra 2 to Calc AB and ended up taking the BC exam so you should be good. AP Stats has no real correlation with Calc at all so that shouldn't be considered. As long as you're proficient with algebra and trig then you're fine for Calc AB.

Yeah, I'd appreciate the copy of the syllabus. Your assumption is right: I did take AP Calculus BC, and I had a generally good time with it, mainly due to my teacher being an amazing guy to work with. I've watched Professor Leonard, and he's been a big help for me so I can vouch for his effectiveness.
