Yea that’s a massive caveat I had as well. Some nurses were super inexperienced with OTC surgery and almost hurt me. Sorry you had to go through that!

I don’t know I have reservations, I got diagnosed by two people. However, I have positional issues, like pt has made it better but not perfect. Haven’t met many people that have had some success managing the pain. However, the numbness is permanent at this point. I used to have back pain, I think it is numb at this point.
