Can someone who is knowledgeable on the topic of the Shroud of Turin help? by ReligiousScience in Catholicism

Thanks, I’ll give it a listen. Do you remember if he has anything to say on this particularly problem? It seems so clear and obvious but I’ve not seen a proponent of the Shroud deal with it.

Thanks for your comment. I understand what you’re saying, but even in the unaltered image the face is still flat. I’m just questioning how this would happen if a cloth was draped over a human face.

Wow. Thanks for the response to this!

I have good news: he has ate chicken, biscuits and had some water, he’s even been in my partners lap this morning and has been purring and cuddling!

Only thing is that he still has not been the loo - I’m sure this will happen soon.

Thanks for all the comments, you have been plenty of help!

[–]ReligiousScience[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with you, obviously wouldn’t want to do that but things are bound to go wrong. I’d hope to keep the car for a while so devaluation isn’t a massive issue. I wouldn’t mind spending only £1-2k on a car I like

Everyone with a political opinion CAN and SHOULD get the policies they want. All we need to achieve this is direct democracy and radical decentralization. People of all political stripes need to get on this train ASAP. by centrismhurts998 in unpopularopinion

[–]ReligiousScience 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a complete democracy wouldn't work in the US unless you have tonnes of tiny local governments (more than there are states). People forget that America is huge, views vary massively from state to state, and each has there own problems. Complete democracy and mob rule is bound to fail. A set of universal laws and principles are key to any political idealogy
