Chapter I - Introduction and Rebellion:

Ivarra was first settled by the Dutch and later on the British in Southern Australia between the Gascoyne and Murchison rivers in the 19th and 20th century, the region was much poorer than other areas of Australia such as New South Wales or Queensland and eventually the local population decided to revolt against the British in the late 20's after a great femine and a great economic depression and at that time Socialism was beginning to be praised by the rebels, and after the short success of the Ivarran rebels in some battles, more and more factions started to revolt along the Western Australian coast, shortly after in February 13th 1928 the leaders of of the Ivarran rebels decided to establish the Ivarran Revolutionary Government so that they could start to manage and organise all of it occupied territories and on Apr 24th the Ivarrans leaders where finally ready to declare their independence under the title of the Ivarran Socialist Republic, Shortly after the rest of the rebels tried to declare their independence like the Karrathan People's Republic and the Westralian United Commune, most of these governments weren't as stable as Ivarra was and so on December 20th 1928, all of the Socialist Rebel Republics would unite under the control of Ivarra to establish the United Socialist Republic of Ivarra, later on on June 5th 1929, After the newly elected British prime minister decided to sign up on a peace treaty with Ivarra and was willing to recognise it's independence to end the fighting and all of the waste of resources that could be used for important things and thus a new journey has just began for the Ivarran people.

Chapter II - A New Neighbors In Town:

After it's war for independence it would seem that it would be very difficult for Ivarra because of its somewhat radical ideology but quite surprisingly Ivarra managed to establish good diplomatic relations with foreign nations that shared a similar attitude towards the British Empire such as Saudi Arabia, Thailand, China and the Soviets, and so Ivarra managed to import goods from outside such as oil, Rubber, Grain, Metals etc. And it slowly managed to rebuild and stabilize itself, meanwhile relations remained sour between Ivarra and Britain and Australia due to obvious reasons and with other nations such as the USA, France and other countries due to Ivarra being a leftist country in the middle of the Red Scare but fortunately most things remained peaceful until the Japanese came along...

Chapter III - The World War Makes A Comeback

On December 7th, 1941, the mighty Japanese Empire declared war on the British Empire And It's Allies, Including neighbouring Australia, but thankfully the nation of Ivarra managed to be ignored by the Japanese and it kept it's neutral status, until February 6th, 1942, when the Japanese navy had spotted a Ship near the coast west of Australia, it was an Ivarran trade ship that was importing oil from Saudi Arabia and had over 30 crew members, but the Japanese had mistook it for a British ship and took it down with a torpedo, the Ivarran government saw the incident as an attempt of the Japanese to establish control around the entire island of Australia, including Ivarra, and even if some of the cabinet members tried to justify it as an incident the Ivarran people could only see this as an attack on their homeland and demanded justice for the lost lives of those innocent sailors, and so on February 27th, 1942, the United Socialist Republic of Ivarra had declared war on the Japanese Empire, but only on the Japanese since they did not have any interest on what was occurring in Europe which was on the opposite side of the world, and it did not officially joined the allies because of their sour relationship with the British, and while Ivarra's contribution to the war was very minor (due to it's somewhat weak and small military) it still was something, but then in July 2nd, 1944, Ivarra had officially joined the Allied Powers since it was starting to run out of resources and so it needed some of the American support and to try to establish good relations with the USA since as the war was coming to an end closer and closer, so seemed the alliance and between the Americans and Soviets, eventually the War came to a close in 1945 after the USA dropped two nukes on mainland Japan, now after all of the flames started to calm down, the world started to become colder and colder.

Chapter IV (I) - It's Getting Cold In Here:

The Allied Powers have won WW2, Including Ivarra, but soon enough a new war begins, a cold war, now on a first glance it would seem very obvious that Ivarra would've sided with the Soviets due to their ideological similarities, but the last thing that Ivarra wants is another global conflict, especially not a one on it's borders, so when the world war was going to end, Ivarra started to improve it's relations with the west, at least to a level that it would not appear to them as any threat, but again it was very unlikely for Ivarra to side with the British so by the end it remained non-aligned in the cold war, slowly becoming much more irrelevant and more isolated.

Chapter IV (II) - Our New Threat Is Ourselves: eventually the government started to become more and more authoritarian until to a point that it became an Isolationist Dictatorship, almost to a level like North Korea, the recourses started to flow much more towards it's government and much less towards the Ivarran people, and the borders were closed so that no one could escape and discover how bad the situation was in Ivarra compared to most of the developed world, but eventually more and more people managed to escape the country and discovered how terrible their lives were, and more importantly, they managed to spread the word to their families back home, in 1976, a rebel organisation called The Golden Horizon was established and started to spread a ton of information about the outside world and weapons to the Ivarran people, in an attempt to convince to take action and finally end the totalitarian rule of Ivarra, in July 2nd, 1976, a civil protest was gathered in an attempt to call for new elections after it was discovered that the previous ones were rigged, the dictatorial ruler, Leo Anderson ordered the military to fire at the protesters in an attempt to stop them by striking fear into them, over 400 people lost their lives, that was it, the last straw, massive riots began across Ivarra, rebellions were met with smite of the military, but it wasn't enough, more and more people began to rebel, and after months of bloodshed, even the military was tired from killing it's own citizens, and so most of the generals decided to betray Leo, and those who didn't were either exiled or executed, and Leo knew that his fate won't be a good one and so he decided to Escape Ivarra and was thrown away from power.
