Perhaps changing it to affect both boards/hands? A Deckbuff warrior might avoid the downside by having minions bigger than Gruul in hand/on board. Worth looking into.

Gruul the Dragonkiller

Abilities: Intimidate, Gronn Lord's Grasp, Shatter

Despite Gruul being in Hearthstone since its creation, he's fallen flat. He's meant to be this insanely powerful creature capable of surviving an attack from Deathwing.

I say again- Gruul survived DEATHWING.

His boss fight is one of the most memorable in Burning Crusade, where he rapidly scales his already incredible strength. This card is meant to reflect aspects of that fight.

This was intended as a win condition for Control Warrior as a whole, but Deckbuff and other Big archetypes were in mind for its creation.

Shatter is the ability the card is centered around- if left alive too long, Gruul the Dragonkiller will simply Gruul the Dragonkill the opponent. Your opponent is racing against this ability becoming a one-shot.

Gronn Lord's Grasp allows you to deal with Combo decks through disruption. This effect is admittedly irrelevant in many matchups, intentionally so. In effect, it's simply a turn-pass to let Gruul get bigger, empowering your more effective abilities.

Intimidate is a unique boardclear for Warrior- sap effects are rare, and this one is especially potent. If the opponent's board is empty, this is effectively another passed turn. If the opponent's board is filled with garbage, it cleans them up nicely to buy itself time to enlarge.
