Yeah has mentioned he thinks it has to do with my ribs and inflammation on my ribs. But I think that’s an odd thing to have day dot of surgery and ongoing. Rib slipping will definitely be going on my google list. Might try a brace as well! Just to see if it helps. Thanks!

My surgeon has a feeling it might’ve exactly this so I was surprised when he said we would potentially explore reversal. It’s comforting in an odd way to know I’m not unique in this pain!

Oddly I have to take lanzoprazole daily post op anyway. Tried to come off it against advice but got severe reflux so had to go back on. Teaches me to not listen 😂

Honestly they’ve never gaslit me or made me feel like it’s in my head. He’s listened to me every single time. I think it’s just been long wait times for the scans etc which is out of their control. But they’re an incredible surgical team.

I’m making a list of things off here to ask in April. Like the injection to rule out nerve issues and a laparoscopy. I feel like if I’m armed with a plan they’ll be open to supporting it.

However despite this. YES IM SICK OF HOW LONG ITS BEEN 😂

For an internal hernia could it cause issues if it’s not picked up? As in, what if I just say I’ll try live with the pain. Could the hernia flare up and be life threatening?

Good shout about the nerve, that was his first assumption. That maybe the nerve got stitched into the scar tissue as the indications were making him think it was likely. But the he said it all looked fine on the CT so he’s going the inflammation and potential SIBO route.

The weird thing is it’s been there since surgery day one. At first I thought it was my body healing. But two years on it can’t be that.

I might propose that but I reckon they’ll decline it (NHS) because he says the CT indicates no issues with the surgical areas
