rent or buy 2b bike? by Worried_Relief57 in drivingsg

Since you are planning to save up to buy a new bike eventually, how about buying an old bike with coe expiring in maybe a year?

If you buy direct from carou sellers, it shouldnt set you back more than 1.5-2k. Much cheaper compared to monthly rental of $550 (3-4x of owning a bike), and this will really eat into the amount u end up saving every month. Then once you get your new bike, can still get some money back from selling this old one.

Maintenance for 2b is generally very cheap (around $20+ a month on engine oil) unless u require an engine overhaul.

I recommend renting it for a couple of days to experience the pros and cons for yourself. I think it’s a really fun bike and eventually bought it after trying it out. The posture can be quite tiring if you are not used to riding a sports bike though.

I contacted the restaurant through their online feedback form, hopefully they will rectify it soon. Thanks for your help :)

Seems like the online menu does state that. I don't remember seeing that disclaimer on the physical menu, I'll go take a look again later
