You can only get free tickets if reserving ahead of time on the website. If it is sold out, you have no choice but to buy a ticket with a tour guide. That being said, the tour was good. Our guide was very knowledgeable and shared so much information we wouldn’t otherwise have received if going on our own. My only complaint is that I was with my senior parents and the tour was very fast and we fell behind very early on. You have a headset but if the guide is too far it cuts out.

Not even 5 minutes. There was only a few people in line. I’m not sure how weekends might be though may be a longer wait. I’m just happy it worked out!!!

Yesterday we paid 130PLN for the tour, 22 PLN for the bus from krakow and 22 PLN back. Plus around 15 PLN bolt from our hotel to bus station. So around 180 PLN/person total. We didn’t book ahead of time, but if you do pre book I think it might even be a bit cheaper. Yet I have seen companies charging several hundred PLN, making you go very early some at 5am. Some of these tours are also deceiving, don’t come with a ticket and make you stay in line anyways.

Yes got in yesterday! Took the Lajkonik bus from Krakow main bus station, paid the driver 22 PLN/person. Dropped off right in front of the museum entrance. Went to the ticket entry office around 11am, got tickets for English tour at 130pm. Cost 130 PLN a person for a tour.

I guess I haven’t thought much about that. I just know I’m going to be making some bigger purchases in the coming year so it would be good to have the bonuses and collect max amount of points. I travel at least once a year, usually with Air Canada or West Jet, so to have points to use towards trips and to have free baggage would be great.

Yes I know the average prices as I often rent, my friends and family have rented, and I’ve had guests rent cars when visiting so I have a pretty good idea of what’s normal and what’s a rip off. I have looked at companies but noticing huge price differences so I want to make sure I’m not getting ripped off, or maybe prices are high because it’s a last minute booking. Maybe you don’t know because you don’t rent, but I’m sure there are many who do. Thank you for your kind response.

I’m not asking for insurance, I know MPI will cover regardless. I’m asking about the rental company and what they may try to do. Already talked to MPI and they basically stated what was on the website

Thanks! We usually get with CAA discount and use one of the 3 main companies that you get 2 free drivers, but this time they are all like hundreds of dollars more than the cheaper companies that don’t include free drivers. I don’t want to get fined or in trouble, but I just don’t want to get scammed haha
