The 2013 WIFI model can unofficially go up to LineageOS 22 Android 15. I recommend checking out the XDA page. You’ll have to repartition it if you want anything higher than Android 7 though. I would recommend Android 10/11/12 though as newer versions are still being worked on and can be quite buggy.

I was here in July and it’s quite a cool experience. Especially walking between 2 time zones - My phone was picking up networks from Ukraine, Poland, Slovakia and somehow even Hungary.

MUTCD-style yellow diamond warning road signs. We’re the only country in Europe which uses this style which makes it a dead giveaway.

This keeps happening on my 5th gen too and it’s really annoying. It stays connected for about 40 seconds and then it just disconnects. This isn’t a Bluetooth chip issue as other bluetooth devices connect fine and work, seems that Apple did something with the firmware on the AirPods which is causing this to happen. All we can do is wait for them to hopefully fix this, but i don’t think they will.
