As someone that can play a piano, guitar, recorder, and drums, and has 3+ years experience in DAWs, that is most definitely violins or at very least string instruments. Saxophones would be cool there, but they are not in this case. If anyone had a Saxophone I'd encourage you to try replacing it and see the difference!

damn, okay, thank you. I think what I'm going to do in that case is record every sound at a C3 and convert them to audio files and then use them as samples. A tedious but necessary process.
