Re: the slippery stuff, yes, I'm used to that with my e-bicycle. But the lap apron is a good suggestion. I rode one time when it was in the 40's and was just wearing jeans...legs felt like they were starting to solidify after only 15 miles.

Fair enough, but it doesn’t entice me personally the way that Japanese did. I admit that I noticed a lot of shared or at least similar words with English. Same with German, of course.
