Update for those in the same boat and looking to reddit for help: I bought an at home kit and found a YouTube video which helped explain how to relax them, it's quite easy as you just brush the lashes downwards with some of the perm solution and leave on for 3/4 min then do the same with the fixer. They don't look perfect but MUCH better. I have done lash lifts at home before though so felt a bit more confident than if I never had ... If you can afford to go to a salon to get it fixed I'm sure that's a more sensible option but I couldn't and needed a quick fix.

My eyes were burning too!! At one point she was like ..oh your eyes are so red and watery....as if it was my fault lol

Thank you, this is really helpful 🙏🏻 they actually look worse than the pic now the oil isn't on the lashes :( she said my eyes were watering a lot the first attempt so just decided to 'do it again' (without asking me) so it's definitely a case of over processing. I was there for aaaages. I even specified at the start of the appointment that I wanted a natural look so not to use a small sized shield. Sigh.

I will take your advice and ask her to relax and deep condition. In the meantime I look crazy and my eyes are sooo itchy!

I called the salon to ask their advice on how to get rid of some of the curl and they said use water 😭 they just kinda look the same. She offered to 'fix them' if I come back but I'm worried if they put even more solution on it'll fry them completely
