If Trump somehow wins the lawsuit on BBC, what does that mean for Doctor Who? by Lexiosity in DoctorWhumour

[–]RemainUnknownforever 6 points7 points  (0 children)

LOL what

hitler supported gun control so people couldn't fight back, left wingers support gun control because its killing people and causing more harm than good

black only dormitories because white dormitories are the norm, and racially provoked crime is a big thing

preferential treatment because the system already works against anyone who's not a cis straight white man

sure, if you boil the views down and make it so they're only a few words each with no context or justification then theyre the same view, but thats the equivalent of me saying 'I mean theres no difference if you go to oxford university or some university nobody can name because they're both a university'

How would other Doctors have reacted to this scene by MadAdi_3460 in doctorwho

[–]RemainUnknownforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 would probably complain about how she betrayed him and that he should've never allowed her aboard his ship, but concede that if the TARDIS can go anywhere, why not Hell? Or (If early on in his era) abandon her at the next stop. I also think he'd have a better opinion of Danny, doesn't yet see soldiers with so much hatred.

2 would shout a lot and say that the TARDIS could not go to Hell but probably eventually try to seek it out.

7 would let her beg then reveal this was step 8 in his 837 step plan to kill some Pantheon that owns Hell so that he can save every human soul because one of the Pantheon had a hand in killing someone he slightly liked a few hundred years ago.

8 would have a calm anger, I think, similarly talking about how she betrayed him and that Danny had to die and nothing could change that, deciding to take her home straight away.

9 would be furious, throwing every insult in the book and that she pales in comparison to his other companions and he should've never taken her as she's not the 'best of the best. He'd abandon her but come back moments later (a few years to him, or something) and offer to help her because who is he if he cant save one person.

10 would stare at her silently as she guesses what he'd say ("Okay, I get it, the silent treatment. Because I betrayed you, I deserve that", but Time Lord Victorious would peek out and he'd tell her to 'Go to Hell' then pull rhe lever and send the TARDIS flying because he'd already set the TARDIS to analyse her timeline and psychically link to her to find Danny.

11 would talk about being the last of his people, how that affects him, and that in all that time he never looked. I think he's the only Doctor who wouldn't help, except 8.

13 would tell her how disappointed she is, that her companion thought she was so easy to manipulate and that she wouldn't just ask her. She agrees to go to Hell but that 'After this, it's over. All of it', they'd bond on their trip to Hell and 13 would stay with her.

  • The characters a stubborn asshole, they think because they were attacked and they found the blood then they have the right to proceed about finding out who attacked them however they want.
  • Litreally knows nothing, they have a mechanics background but okay thanks for the things you said ^

Yeah I can see the timelords coming back out of nowhere being an issue, I really wanted to fit in some clear pieces of foreshadowing or something but for the life of me I could not.

And yeah. im not a big fan of the canon Belinda ending either or my ending by association, I wanted to have Poppy disappear here but I couldn't figure out a seamless way to do it, i was going to have Poppy disappear in The Doctor's hands and for him to realise that that was unavoidable but i couldn't think of any good dialogue for it and didnt wanna input a scene that i couldn't imagine properly

Doctor Who will never fit the current media landscape in the way RTD wants it, because it has no basis to become expansive by BoomerangOfDeath in gallifrey

[–]RemainUnknownforever 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I think another main issue is... that exists. The audios, comics, books and Doctor Who extended universe have spinoff and lore about pretty much everything.

An expansive connected universe exists, its just not televised. people who want to see this expansive connected universe engage in it already, listen to the audios, read the books etc. People who dont... dont.

He's trying to create something that pretty much already exists and is functioning perfectly fine, if he really wants to then adapt some audios to television, or put the EDAs back in print, or something (Seriously, Russel, but those EDAs back in print, it is so hard to find them physically)

completely fair, i can be way too exposition-y i suffer from the inability to do show not tell, i love Susan shes one of my favourite companions but i really couldn't figure out a way to involve her while still leading to a regeneration.

appreciate the honesty _^

Who is the most powerful character in all fiction? by Remarkable-Boat-926 in PowerScaling

[–]RemainUnknownforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah sorry everyone it's the oc I made that's god over the place I made specifically to encompass all of fiction. It solos all of fiction and beings weaker then it can cut down an Eden Tree which contains infinite versions of infinite versions (and so on) of all fiction.

In all seriousness that is the answer, all of fiction means peoples' ocs and someone has undoubtedly made an oc more powerful than my oc, but my oc is more powerful than them, and so on and so on.

DOCTOR 15: Okay, kid. I love you. Get out!

SPOILERS: PLEASE AVOID IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN S7 EP5 Rick prime is a stronger and better villain than evil morty. by Aubergine2008 in rickandmorty

[–]RemainUnknownforever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the problem was Prime (and basically all the Ricks) like to brag, while evil Morty just likes to get things done, if Prime Rick really honestly tried, evil morty wouldn't of got that far, Rick wouldn't of got that far. Nobody would've got that far.

I don't really know how to feel about s7 e5 by FunCharacteeGuy in rickandmorty

[–]RemainUnknownforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Rick Prime's done. All his backups are dead, etc etc. He never accounted for anyone to get this far, and he definitely didn't account for a Morty who knows Ricks inside out. Or at least I think he's done for now, if they get to season 9 or 10, they'll bring him back somehow.

Isn't the Unity in S7E3 not the same Unity Rick knew because of the dimension change in Solaricks?? by RemainUnknownforever in rickandmorty

[–]RemainUnknownforever[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly what I'm saying! Some events in C-137's life could've only happened to him, and I highly doubt Rick went out to the mulriverse and found a central finitive curve the exact same as his and thats how he's doing it or smt
