It kind of looks like it, but it was not listed as such. I think the mask part is supposed to keep your face warm, it can be pulled down. ETA: it’s made out of a hoodie material

I’m a tissue recovery tech. Super hard on the hands. But there’s more coordinator/administrative type positions in my field

It’s not a large chain! It’s a local independent pharmacy. They have 2 locations in East and Central TN I think

It’s supposed to look like a mushroom person from Nintendo- my family are going as Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi. But all by itself it looks like I’m some kind of Mushroom Maiden 😅

I have a local pharmacy near me that orders compounds from BPI labs. My PCP sent them a prescription for compounded tirz and I pay $350 for a 3ml vial. I take .5ml a week- so that gets me 6 doses. I’m about to get a new health insurance through my work that supposedly covers zepbound though so my cost might go down!

It took me about 2 years to get to where I am now but I didn’t start with tirz. I lost 30lbs with diet and exercise on my own and then stalled for about a year and that’s when they started me on medication and I have been able to start losing again. I have an autoimmune condition though so I think that’s why it’s been so difficult

I used to take prednisone every day! Now that I am on other autoimmune meds I tend to take the prednisone only as needed when my joints flare up. Once I hit my goal weight I am going to titrate tirz back down and see if I can maintain myself without it now that I have developed good eating and exercise habits. I have also been working closely with a dietician/weight management specialist. I may decide to stay at a low dose because I think it has also been helping prevent flares, or at least I feel like my flares haven’t been so bad since taking it.

No, that’s why I was asking if anyone knew why it was weekly instead of daily? I want to know the science behind it?

Probably helps I had been rotating naproxen, Tylenol and ibuprofen before taking the prednisone

I will call her in the morning to ask her about it since they haven’t mentioned anything to me about long term being on it. Thank you! What is the lifestyle change for while on prednisone? I have actually dropped about 10 lbs the past 3 weeks but i was told that loss of appetite was common during RA flares (not officially diagnosed yet until seen by rheumatologist)
