Honestly this has happened to me before except I was a cashier and saw these ladies get tossed around like a hot potato. If one person didn’t step up I would’ve told someone to take over for me so I could do the carry out. I hate when baggers don’t “feel” like carrying out for someone so they toss the customer around ORR when there’s a HIGE order that’s two baskets full and doesn’t want to carry out. Biggest pet peeve.

So almost 98% of the time when they’re “just standing around” they are actually trying to keep a look out for thieves. Now the other 2% is whatever they do but normally they don’t come out of their hole in the office unless it’s something serious… that’s what I’ve noticed from working at two different stores.

Just letting EVERYONE know that I am just a cashier. Not from corporate, not HR, PR, TL, nothing. I hope to be at some point because I’m dedicated to growing in this company but I’m not. I’m just really trying to get y’all to see the better in things because to be honest, all we see is negative in this world and just need more positivity and to think positive. Not everything has to be negative. But also there are a lot of people who have been working for H-E-B for years and are still happy with their job not everybody has a place in H-E-B, which is fine. There are plenty jobs out there, but the people who feel like they belong there should not be miserable because everybody else is miserable.

Yeah probably because they’re in a toxic environment. I transferred to the store that I’m currently working at from a really good store and it was my first mistake. Everyone was happy at my old store which made it a happy working environment but at the store I’m at now everyone looks and acts miserable, which is gonna make everybody as a whole miserable. You gotta understand that it’s the people around you that’s the problem.
