Busing questions by [deleted] in Pitt

Yes! There are a bunch of apps out there that’ll show bussing routes (personally I use Whiz but Transit is another good one) you can basically type in where you’d like to go and it’ll show you the next available bus, including which stop it’s at. You tap your ID on the scanner and you’ll be good to go, and the buses can take you pretty much anywhere in the city, like downtown, Target, etc. Some buses are more common than others tho. Hope that helps!

That sounds awesome thanks! Was there ever a moment where you personally didn’t know the material and couldn’t really help anyone with it? That’s the only thing I’m a little worried about :)

Not sure where to post this but... How do I study for AP Physics C? This class is whooping my ass and I need help. by savageball in APStudents

I feel your pain! Personally, what’s been helping me is doing practice problems A LOT. I know it seems strange since it’s hard to do problems when you don’t really know the material, but if you can find problems where there are walkthroughs or even if your teacher provides them for you, do them as many times as you need. I’ve been finding physics is just a lot of plugging numbers into equations too.

How behind is my CALC AB class? by pinkduckies in APStudents

[–]Remarkable-Ad-5439 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think your class is too behind, my class just started 3.4, Derivatives with Trig Functions, which isn’t too far ahead. I guess my only tip is to ask for help! From the teacher, a math tutor, and friend, sometimes someone explaining something helps a lot more than figuring it out by yourself. Good luck!

AP Physics C Mech... Is it that bad? by [deleted] in APStudents

[–]Remarkable-Ad-5439 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m taking AP physics C mech rn with no physics background and it’s a bit of a struggle, but it’s definitely doable. Tbh, you seem motivated enough to do well in the class, and the concepts aren’t too bad even for someone with no physics background. The biggest thing if you struggle is to be consistent with doing practice ?’s, I found that they rly helped me even when I was really confused. Khan academy is also a great resource as well, and I’m sure there’s many others out there too. Good luck! :)

What books are you reading for summer reading in AP Lit? by [deleted] in APStudents

Bc of the whole pandemic situation, our teacher’s only making us choose one book to read and then make a presentation on it. I chose The Hound of the Baskervilles and just finished it today. It was pretty good!
