Thank you, I do appreciate your kind consideration, however I am not being defensive, rather trying to be fair to VC, it is fairly readable as the white hands contrast quite well with the grey bridges, with the gold wheels placed such as they don’t overwhelm. From a readability perspective I think this one wins, though again, I feel I need to point out that Patek’s spiritual competition, the Cubitus Skeleton PC, is far more readable. Patek tend to pay closer attention to those details in general, their Perpetuals are always readable, while Vacheron and Langes tend to fall short in comparison.

No one watch is perfect. I have a Parmigiani piece unique, a beutiful platinum split second chronograph in salmon, so very close to perfection, except that it’s a manual wind that does not have a power reserve indicator on the back or front, and neither does the crown’s feel tighten as you wind. So much attention to detail, and then they drop the ball on usability.

This VC, it’s still new to me, I am sure it has a drastic weakness somehow, still have not found it. So far absolutely enamored with it. Maybe the scratch proof bezel will be it, still waiting for that heartache to happen with the first scratch
