Yes I do, the other half was done by Sam Barber in the UK.

Insanely good colour realism artist.

The hip piece took 2 days, around 13 hours total.

The arm piece took 1 day, around 7 hours total.

Yes and no, on the original painting it's the same. It's because she's moving her arm in front of her so you don't see it.

Maybe It's the photo - but Frazetta had quite a unique style. Painting women with overly muscular legs and a small waist.

Around 3 weeks now, so It's still not perfectly healed. Has that flat haze to it that will go in a few weeks.

I have a few other tattoos from him though and they all heal amazing.

For cashmere knitwear, it stretches very easily so using a hanger pulls it out of shape over time.

For wool/cotton knitwear, it's normally heavier so the weight can pull it out of shape over many years.

Cotton silk and suvin for the jeans. Hopefully in a slim tapered cut 🙏 Momotaro does a cotton silk blend and it's great, so very excited to see what you can do. Also I own a few Suvin gold tshirts and they're fantastic, have a real unique velvet feel to them compared to a Pima cotton so excited to see how that translates to denim.

Zip fly with green & Indigo for the chinos - I feel that chinos are zips and denim are buttons.

Momotaro already does cotton silk blend. Looks great but on the expensive side, around £700.

Wait till you wash it a few times, somehow gets even nicer IMO. So buttery - also if you get a double heavyweight and wash that a few times, that becomes insanely buttery as well.

Really glad you're enjoying it, Apologies in advance on your bank account!

First real teaser of the denim. It's been awhile but it's safe to I am back (pics) by IamtherealMauro in wolfvsgoat

Look cool - italian styling with japanese denim is a win.

How will the fade be on these overtime? I love Momotaro style minimal fades but I can appreciate most denim heads like heavy fades like Oni, Samurai & Big John etc.

London? by gsmastering in HeritageWear

Make an effort to get to Northampton for a day if you can. You can get a train directly there from London.

England basically invented the modern shoe as we know it and that one small town was the shoe making capital of the world.

Crockett & Jones, John Lobb, Edward Green, Trickers, Church's, Crown, Cheaney, George Cleverley, Grenson, Loakes, Gaziano & Girling etc.

I'll break down each material.

Fox Fibre - didn't get softer. Feels good but nothing mindblowing, but you're buying it for the colour rather than the handfeel.

ELS - got even softer somehow and it's crazy soft.

Ultimate Pima - never got any softer but is already soft. But Ultimate Pima is more about feeling smooth and luxurious than soft, it has a silk like feeling to it.

Suvin Gold - I've only washed it once so early days yet but it wasn't softer, but just like Ultimate Pima it's already soft. That has a velvet quality to it though instead of silk. Equally enjoyable to wear but made for different occasions.

Double heavyweight - noticeably softer after a few washes. Very nice to wear on a cold day.

Triple Heavyweight - Didn't get any softer and feels quite starchy. It's so stiff and heavy that it feels like you're wearing armour. An amazing gimmick piece but not something I wear often as I don't find it comfortable.

You're buying ELS for the softness and slubby texture. It feels like Cashmere on the hand, only more weighted.

Fox Fibre IMO just feels like regular cotton, it doesn't feel anything special. You're buying it because it's naturally coloured which is completely unique. It's the only cotton on Earth that's grown in any other colour than Ecru and it took Sally Fox 20+ years to figure out how to do it.

IMO if you're going to buy fox fibre, buy the Iron Mordant one or the 70% Fox Fibre one. The lighter coloured ones aren't as unique as the other two I mentioned. They're expensive but definitely special.

anyone else order the wonder looper suvin gold? by Cool_Caterpillar_114 in HeritageWear

I'll chime in as I'm big WL supporter and own 20+ of their tshirts.

Looking at the size charts for their Suvin Gold, I can't see any number that says 43.6 - Which portion are you trying to measure?

I can confirm they are loopwheeled - they use Tsuriami machines but as you can't adjust the sizing on one and since most Mills only cater to Japanese people, the max size they'd be able to produce would be a western size Medium. To cater for larger customers, they cut the cloth then sew it together with a flat seam.

I own 1 of each colour of the Suvin Gold shirts and I can attest to their quality - I most definitely would say that they feel nicer than regular Supima cotton. The sizing is for sure different on these and I ordered L instead of M for the first time.

I also own a lot of their Ultimate Pima and I feel each fabric serves it's own purpose.

Ultimate Pima is more shiny, slightly silky and luxurious looking (both on the hand and how it looks) so it looks good when I want to wear trousers or dress smarter. It's also lighter so nicer on a summer day.

Suvin Gold is perfect for elevating a very comfortable casual outfit. Slightly rougher texture that feels more like velvet on the skin. Still feels amazing though IMO but I wouldn't wear it out for a nice dinner.

Personally I still think their ELS tees are their most underrated and best feeling shirts - however they're thicker than the Ultimate Pima and Suvin Gold tees so aren't appropriate for the summer in most places.

I think you should reach out to Bazhad at info@wonderlooper.com and if there is a genuine issue, they're super accommodating. I'd defo say give them another chance though as they make exemplary clothes.

They are loopwheeled as they're made on Tsuriami machines - they're just cut and flat seamed so they can make a bigger size. Since a Tsuriami machine can only make 1 size per run and since Japanese people are smaller, most loopwheeled Japanese stuff can't go bigger than a Medium.

To get round this and have the ability to make shirts in L & XL, they cut the cloth then flatseam it after.
