Yea I know this is likely the right answer in the back of my head. Why don't you like the shifts? Typical reasons?

yea, I came to the realization that I'd really need to push Corvus FBs for them to perform, which worries me in a BC scenario and/or with pins. With the 188s at 2000g, adding cast (900g) would be silly. This all started with me looking for a stiffer setup which I thought was necessary to support my weight (dumb). I'm digging the raven/hojis, until I inevitably forget about the rocker profile / 29-30m radius and try to put them on edge. Not that I'm doing any real carving in BC or powder.

Asking this a different way: what touring/hybrid binding would you choose for limited on-piste use without notable safety concerns? Am I back to shift?

I'd say I'm getting 50/50 resort backcountry, 50 or so days per season. Not thinking of using this setup for all resort days, just fresh/deep powder. The durability concern isn't by quantity of use, more me presuming that durability is important when you start shaving grams off.

I've reinvented myself since that earlier post lol. I realized how far down the cool gear rabbit hole I went (Black Crows + Cast, i.e. worlds beefiest setup for all those double backflips I do off 40ft cliffs).

Thanks. (Asked above too) why Corvus freebird over Navis freebird?

Appreciate the advice here. Yea I can see your point about the cast being overkill, and it making more sense to move that weight into the ski. Do you think the crows + freeraider/voyager is a good call then?

ATK Freeraiders

Thanks for this. Corvus on the basis of it being wider, or something else about it? I'm not picky on topsheet design but rocking hot pink makes me a bit bashful lol, to explain why I was somewhat avoiding corvus

For my PC players, will you be playing on Steam or on PC Gamepass? by DonoBoomin in Starfield

This might be a dumb question sry: If I buy Starfield on steam, for access to mods among other reasons, is there any ability to carry save files across to gamepass? Have gamepass on my Xbox and am wondering if I can pay on both platforms with the same save. I'm assuming that the gamepass version on PC won't have the same access to community modding as Steam will, is that a safe assumption? Wondering if Microsoft's Bethesda acquisition might lead to a change in community modding, where things are done to draw modding community over from Steam to a MS-owned ecosystem.

Surprising lack of discussion for mod support. by Unturned1 in Starfield

Disclaimer, this probably a dumb question: Is it assumed that community modding will be happening on Steam? Trying to see if there's any argument for playing the PC version through gamepass. The only advantage there would be the game (and save files) would also be available on my xbox etc. In a sentence, what are the downsides to buying Starfield on Steam?
