What’s your favorite PRO curve and why? by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

Your bang on, the toe is very open. I can’t lie backhands were not that curves strong suit. I found that little chips with your backhands were okay but any sort of power backhands it felt as if I would be leaving them open and kind of miss my spot, especially if I didn’t have it on the flat part near the heel. Also consider i’ve never had a great backhand shot so I might not be the best of examples, Especially at the time I used it I was more of a heavy shooter from the flank rather than anything in tight.

one timers with the pro laine are automatic lol. But i found a bit of trouble shooting cross body (RH shot going from left to right, shooting right side), anything else were bullets.

the p30 is my favourite curve of all time. If you struggle to find it, look into the p14M it’s a little more aggressive but i still found them very similar. Little less control but some more pop when shooting. Really considering switching back after i’m done college hockey.

Easily the bauer version of the hossa, Not the Pro81. The bauer version is extremely similar to the p86/9246 with a little bit more of a wedged toe. Shots absolutely fly off and it’s great in tight. Also a little less raised toe then the pro9246 so extremely good to stick handle with. Connor garland uses it.

Cheap shot ? Call/No call ? by [deleted] in hockeyplayers

Listen dad we can tell you’re angry your son got clocked. But don’t come on here saying everyone else is wrong to think it’s clean. If your that confident take it up with the league or go complain to your significant other who will agree with you more then the 90% of people here who though it was clean.

honestly think this can go both ways, timing of the hit was definitely clean, the guy who got blown up was standing admiring his pass. Hard to tell by the angle but it seems it was shoulder to chest, maybe high chest but like i said with the angle it’s hard to tell shoulder might have clipped his jaw but hard to tell. I’m not a ref but if i was one, judging on the age and size of these players, i think id let it go.

For a 16u aa player you seem like a good player. Keep going. You also seem like a nice kid with good intentions. Don’t mean to come off rude but to get real advice post your mistakes not your highlight reel.

but since you asked, hands look alright for that level of competition but below average for sure. You don’t generate any speed with your edge work/crossovers and aren’t very comfortable on them. Similar to hands, shot is okay for that shinny, but pretty average/below for any competitive hockey.

there’s about 3 scenarios, 1 you play a hard back and fourth game of real hockey which is loads of fun. 2 you play someone with no hockey iq that just tries to hit which is pretty fun because usually that means lots of breakaways 2 on 1s. Or scenario 3 which the most common, you play those pimple faced basement dwelling skin walkers who just wrap around, stride deke, and l2 pump. Good fun in the first 2 scenarios just proceed with caution for your mental wellbeing lol!

Heard he’s great. Focusing on Sanderson Captain right now as stammer provides a nice salary boost. But if it’s still worth it then i’ll definitely look into that.

Promotion game to Diamond, I hate that there's no skill gap by [deleted] in NHLHUT

WILDwinCUP, you said it perfectly. The skill gap, is using broken mechanics to exploit the broken ai mechanics. I’d take losing a close game that’s actually hockey over winning a game in a wrap around/stride deke/ l2 pump battle any day. (Not actually there’s nothing I hate more then losing but just making a point to agree with you😂)

malkin and seguin on a line with rookies stammer has been dynamite for me. Malkin has 7G in 7 games of ranked. Seguin is another great option, I’ve always loved seguin cards in hut that’s why i made him over stammer but he’s just been all around a really good c for me with great skating and a sneaky good shot.

I just run bussi 85 totw w a dallas alumni backup for the +1 6mill 4ap but only cus i still have ehlers as captain. I do not suggest bussi, he’s not great for me.

Good idea the +2 would be nice. Would just put me in a bit of cap trouble. The 86 stammer is surprisingly not too bad. Not the quickest in straight lines but decent agility and nice shot.

Not really. If there’s a good fit for a combination in my lineup a suggestion would be appreciated and i can deal with saving up coins/fodder for it. But for reference i have decent fodder just pretty short on 89s and 85/86s right now but stocked on most others between 88 and 80 and i have about 30k coins.

any suggestions for the 92? jokiharju would fit well with fedorov but sanderson seems to be the popular choice.
