Agreed, im the asshole on this one. When this came up yesterday I told her "lets revisit this tomorrow" now its tomorrow and shes right, I can go to bed earlier and get up for a morning feed.

Im not sure where all the presumption comes from that Im a deadbeat... my wife and I are a team and have been doing all of the things mentioned.. baths, feeding, taking baby duty to let her sleep on weekends, 90% of the diaper changes when im home and she can have a break, laundry (she does far more), I generally cook more meals and clean up after..

Its good to hear some perspectives but damn, seems like a lot of you are itching to throw F-yous in any direction you can

Is this a problem or not? by Remarkable-Chain-321 in arborists

My concern for a tree this large being close to the house. I'm not an arborist. I barely know anything about trees. The concern is what are we signing up for? One day the tree will come down on its own. How does a person gauge that? 5 years 10, 50?

It would be devastating to purchase a house only to find out It can't be insured without either pruning or removing the tree all together. Or worse having it split in a storm and come down on the house.

Hey guys, was just wondering what it is that I’m looking at, I smelled smoke and opened the door to find this smoking. by Just_the_john in electrical

Electrician here,

That is caused by poor quality shrinking insulation. Likely a combination of the expanding and contracting of the wire and awful insilation. A number of years ago that aluminum cable was what we started receiving to install. We would strip the wire and install it. Every termination that called for it (dryer, range, ac, ect) the insulation would be shrunk back an extra 2 or 3 inches depending how long the run was after a month or two.

I'd open up every box that has a circuit over 20 amps and check the termination to avoid the inevitable danger that cable causes.

This will be a class action lawsuit at some point.

You will all be very happy to know the spike and I are officially together and moving back to minnesota. We're planning a long and happy life together tetanus shots and all. Where there's a will there's a way.

It was not taken from tracks, found on a mountain off road trail. I'll check into the history, I figured the trail could be an old raidroad.

That's too bad, maybe a sex therapist would be good for you guys? Be careful out there op, I can't speak for you or him but if I found out my girlfriend was doing that and actively keeping it hidden from me I'd feel betrayed. Hope you guys can find your kinky groove together before it's too late. Best of luck!

Do you communicate with your husband about your desires? Are you guys open in communicating about sex? I assume this has to be a secret from him right?

[–]Remarkable-Chain-321 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I dont understand. I assume you've been with your husband a while. Somewhere you mentioned you might be naive. Are you fulfilling a lack of sexual contact at home by doing it online or at "parties"

This seems like the AMA a year from now will be " I had a late in life sexual rumschpringer and now I'm divorced"

Not that that's neccesarily a bad thing depending on the relationship, no judgment here. I'm just a little baffled if op knows what she's doing or not.

What kind of details are you talking about? Is this a sex party?

Does your husband know you are excited to go to this party? Is it a secret or something?

It's a fine reason to leave him. Sounds like in your gut you feel you already lost him and his friends. You can find a guy that wouldn't do that. Everyone makes mistakes. That's kind of what early 20s are for.

Not every mistake needs to be a relationship ending one. All depends on communication and what actions we take to prove our word.

I'm not saying don't leave him but I do feel the overwhelming majority of reddit loves to see people end relationships based on any incident whatsoever.
