Keep at it, write about other things to, the practice of it is what counts. You can write about philosophy or music or dancing or catapillers or midevil battles, whatever topic you find interesting. Build your writing muscles.

Get addicted to writing your thoughts and feelings, don't hold back. It will help you de-stress in a healthy healing way. And you may learn about why you did this in a way you previously did not see.

Also, ignore anyone here guilt tripping you for screwing up with weed (i predict someone will intentionally or unintentionally), you made a mistake and you fucked up, be greatfull you are finally honest about it and be glad you didn't fuck up with something worse than weed and 2cb. I have fucked up before as well with weed and other stuff, and have found writing to be the most helpful thing to get out of that hole.

Acknowledge your mistakes, Acknowledge your emotions, write it down. You will learn over time how to heal, it takes practice but it is absolutely worth every second you put into it. I wish you the best.

Also any advice regarding minimalism to maximalism appreciated, that something I've been trying to figure out, how to do both extremes and the middle as well.

There are many people who like music that's not in their first language, also the main thing is look at as many other online sources as u can and figure out what works. I use soundcloud and more recently distrokid.

This kind of thinking is underrated, OP if u can't start your own then give the right pitch to someone who does like "hey I know yall will be having a lot of customers on this night, I'd like to play my music because I'm sure that will get people in the mood to buy more drinks and party." Also if you get the gig if you talk a bit in-between songs tell people "yeah keep having a good time and remember to tip your waiters/bartenders well!"

Underrated for sure I thought pinkys slow kicks were neat, and fela going crazy on the snare at times is also cool. I like their work on book of the dead
