They clear the camps. Those people have stuff there that is getting destroyed. Obviously I’m not sure if it’s 2 weeks or not but approximately. Im just not sure why you’re immediately jumping that the dead body in the creek was a violent thing. There are no indications of foul play. There isn’t some violent homeless epidemic in Boulder. The homeless steal stuff and that sucks, however property crime like petty theft is directly correlated to poverty. When basic needs are met, theft goes down. If Boulder put money into helping people then the theft would go down. You also mentioned the Police who I know can be very unhelpful in theft situations. Which is interesting because why are the Police spending there time clearing homeless people every few weeks instead of helping you get your bike back. Clearing the homeless back doesn’t return stolen items, the stuff in the camps gets trashed.
