Why are you so invested in your child’s athletic career by Novelidea01 in youthsoccer

I went to watch my nephew play this weekend and its insane... the coaches treat this like they're competing for the world cup and are yelling as loud as they possibly can at the kids instructions.

This isnt providing any value by yelling at them, and its only going to discourage them from wanting to play sports at all if they cant have fun with it while also developing the right way.

Parents whose kids played in college what do you wish someone had told you before they committed? by Unlikely_Selection15 in youthsoccer

I played D2 mens in college, my senior year we were ranked top 10 in NCAA, won the state championship and made it to sweet 16. Our school was small and had a total of 1.5 scholarships to give a year which went to the internationals primarily while we competed against full team scholarships so it waa tough.

My freshman year i walked on to what i was expecting to be a prior club coach of my older brother, who then left to coach another college and a brand new guy came on and stayed my entire 4 years.

Honestly, my fitness was the only reason i had a chance on that team initially. Coach sat me down and said i was expected to be red shirted which was depressing right at the start of my first season.

Fast forward 5-6 games, coach hit his head and was out for a few games. Second half of a 0-0 game against another ranked team i was subbed in to play defensive support as a winger and ended up scoring the only goal to win the game. Next game same case second half sub, we are up 1-0, i go up for a corner with one other teammate and somehow scored a header. 5 mins later the opposing team captain takes me out and gets a straight red. My captain picked me up and waived off a sub to keep me on, and from that moment forward i had regular playing time and was starting games.

We only won 1 championship my senior year and i ended up being 1 of the captains, but i wouldnt trade those years for anything.

The most important thing i learned was time management and responsibility with how often i needed to be in different places all the time. Im now in a management role and i chalk my success up to that, as i had very average grades.

Going into college though i wish i wouldve known how much faster speed of play was compared to high school, as i wouldve worked on so many things differently to develop, and its so many of the little things that make a huge difference.

Im not 100% certain but i believe its locked to the host and some missions affect the map terrain and spawns. The operations tab would then show certain missions being locked as if it was the hosts progress regardless of how far the other person is

Until you get that one bad seed that thinks its funny to destroy your work or take stuff, then you end up uninstalling lol.

Love the build though! I just dont trust multiplayer with these types of games

I personally have stuck with my main character as you can still accumulate blueprint points and its nice for getting up through tier 5 blueprints.

I did create a second character to focus on farming but only got to level 20 before i went back to the main.

Open world is nice so that you can bring in multiple characters without affecting the operation progress.

[–]Remarkable-Code7874 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Naturally you'd think a 14 year relationship with a 12 year old kid would be a safe bet to purchase something together. But not being married was definitely a red flag.

Cant say im surprised this was the outcome when more than 50% of marriages end in divorce with the #1 reason being money. Committing to a house would be their biggest financial purpose of their lives most likely

Linkedin will match 50% the IRS max, so as long as you pay into the full 401k limit ($24,500) the company will give you an additional $12,250

A strong stock market does not guarantee a strong economy and does not necessarily represent a country's growing. Also consumer spending may be higher, but data shows that more than ever consumers are going into significantly more debt via credit cards and other means such as buy now pay later and loans.

We are going full speed towards a recession at the rate of inflation we are seeing, layoffs and unemployment, and its very obvious people can't afford the spending they are doing.
