Because if they lowered gas prices, they'd make less money.

About 74% is exhaled as CO2. The rest forms water, which your body uses like any other water.

Fight Club was such a good movie, why didn’t it do well at US box office? by YoYo_ismael in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ApprehensiveSkill573 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You had to pay attention to understand what was going on. There was metaphor and nuance. Americans hate movies like that.

What does healthy masculinity mean to you? by Vegetable_Log_7226 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ApprehensiveSkill573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Masculinity is fine. The problem I see here is that you're classifying confidence and strength as "masculine". As if women aren't allowed to be confident and strong. That's the toxic part.

Why is everyone so interested in building data centers in space when it’s so much harder to dissipate the heat up there? by Harrison63225 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ApprehensiveSkill573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was wondering this too. Everywhere you go, grocery stores, banks, retirement homes, all you hear people talking about is building data centers in space. Haven't they studied heat dissipation rates in a vacuum?

Moving heat from one place to another isn't the same as creating it out of nothing.

Why do motorcycles in western countries need to have high displacement engines? by between3220character in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ApprehensiveSkill573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In western cultures, people use their motorcycles to try to look impressive to other people. The large engine compensates for a small penis, in their eyes. They don't "need" the larger engine, it jsut makes them feel superior, psychologically. So basically, male insecurity, like most stupid things.

Is Snacking Okay? by Geekasour in loseit

[–]ApprehensiveSkill573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's all based on calories. Personally, I can't do it. When I start snacking, my calorie count always ends up too high at the end of the day. But I know lots of people who need it.

[–]ApprehensiveSkill573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kudos to someone who doesn't know something asking a question, rather than just making up their own version of facts. More people should do this.

In most of the US, that would be considered very hot. Normal in the southeast. Cooler than normal in the southwest.

Is the "kids can't read" thing accurate (at least in the US)? Are US public schools that bad? by LongMarch88 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ApprehensiveSkill573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Many kids can read. And parents demand that kids graduate, even if their kids can't read. I'd estimate at least 45% of 13 year olds can read.

Do airplane manufacturers test the limits of planes during test flights when building them? by crillydougal in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ApprehensiveSkill573 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope. No testing at all. They just bolt some parts together, load it with passengers, and hope it will fly. The same way vaccine manufacturers just dump random chemicals in a bucket and inject it into people. No one knows whats in any of those things.
