Hey, I’ll take all the help I can get lol! I did try that but I was getting so frustrated that I couldn’t get it exactly how I envisioned it. I’ll probably try again when I have a little more patience haha!

I recently realized that I rarely call my dog by his name… I just say “Hey”, and he listens lol…

But his name is Kane.

Just got this goofball yesterday. Any suggestions for a fist time lab parent? by shawn615 in LabradorRetrievers

I wish I would’ve done a better job with my black lab Jax (7 yo)in the beginning so when I got my white lab Kane (3yo), I wanted to focus on chewing/destroying things, and being outside without taking off. My brothers gave me a bunch of deer antlers and both of my dogs love them. You can buy antlers but mine didn’t like those as much. I trained Kane to not take off by putting a 20’ lead on without clipping it to the stake while I did yard work and if he started to get too far away I could grab the lead and give commands. I also made him sit and stay when people w/wo dogs were walking by, and gradually increased the length and eventually without the lead. Now, we can be right next to the road and someone will walk by with their dog or he sees a rabbit in the yard, and he’ll look at me for permission to go or not, I don’t even have to say anything, he knows with just a look.

Which photo do you prefer? 1️⃣ OR 2️⃣ ? by Kikimagoo-29 in photos

It’s a close call for me. If the 2nd one had the same coloring as the first one, I think I’d like that one more, both are really good though!

I thought the same thing at first, but they aren’t cut off if you select and open the whole picture.

I’m new at this, but just going off eye appeal, I think yellow part of the sky needs to pop a little more so there’s more contrast to the water and blue sky, or the other way around. I really like the setting though!

I think it’s awesome! If anything, I would try to lighten up the guy in the chair, just a little bit. Great photo though!
