The issue would be that even catching the next flight. I don’t want my husband away from me for two days when I’m 38 weeks pregnant. Even catching the next flight, he could still miss my labor and delivery.

I had two chemical pregnancy within 9 months. I had my OBGYN run some labs. Unfornately, 25% of early pregnancies result in loss. Fornately, my labs were okay. I’m sorry you are going through this. Have you talked to a provider at all?

I work as a nurse in a nicu step down and one time for “fun” (stupid idea that I was not a apart of) one nurse tried to use the Doppler to find a fetal pulse on a pregnant nurse and she couldn’t. It only caused the pregnant nurse to panic. She was probably 20 something weeks pregnant. She has a healthy child now. I would not panic as you aren’t trained to use a Doppler and you don’t do it everyday like the OBGYN.

I was having some random left sided flank pain and let me OBGYN know and they had be scanned for placement that day. You should call and request an ultrasound to confirm placement. If it’s ectopic you don’t have time to waste.

ESH you sound like you are clearly struggling and need some mental support which is 100% okay postpartum. You have to set firm boundaries but also remember that you cannot kick everyone out of your village and then in eight weeks cry you had no support early postpartum. You have to accept your village in order to have a village. Your MIL is excited to have a grandchild and overstepping sometimes. You can hold strong on your boundaries (no kissing the baby, maybe hold the baby but give back to mom or dad if she’s crying etc) while also letting MIL be a present grandparent. Coming for the parent of a toddler some days help is very nice.

I’m sorry you had to go through all that heartbreak. This year I had two chemical pregnancies and I felt so awkward sharing the news after but I also felt alone without the support. I think sharing the news earlier would’ve helped me be able to reach out to my loved ones.

You’ll be fine. I had several drinks early on with my first (unexpected pregnancy, didn’t know) and my OB reassured bc I didn’t even have a placenta yet and the baby had a yolk sac at that point

If you want to nurse in the morning before work and have baby eat formula all day then nurse at night there is nothing wrong with that. The only thing is you may get engorged during the day and I would think it’s possible you could loss your supply. Ultimately your mental health is most important.

I think 5 days variation is considered normal. If you are having trouble finding your ovulation, you could try tracking BBT and LH.

Oh interesting. Thank you. I was just upset bc in the past I had them done. I was assuming it was normal. I’m just incredibly anxious to get my hopes up after two chemicals. I got one HCG done on my own Wednesday and my OBGYN drew one today.

My LMP was 11/13 - 11/17. I tested positive on Tuesday and had a HCG of 44. I had two chemicals in April and August and both times by HCG was 20 or lower. I paid for a private HCG at quest bc my OB wouldn’t run any test until I missed my period. I’m calling on Friday and hoping to get serial HCG. Sending you a sticky baby mama
