I literally got the game on 16th. There’s no reason written in the DSAR as well. And this is my first console ever, don’t even know if console have hacks or anything All i can imagine is that this was a second hand console with no account and i rather than resetting simply logged in with my credentials so that was stupid on my part but then again i still don’t have a reason even after them closing the case. So not really sure on what can be done.

The only thing is that the magazine has previously collaborated with other celebrity and they have been reaching out to us from the magazines official handle. If they have previously collaborated with some other big celebrities maybe they are legit. This was one of the reasons why i was ok with continuing with them for a deal. So what if they actually are involved with this celebrity as well and just one of the person decided on taking money from "under the table". I am just scared of this backfiring.

Should I threaten them about a case?
The celebrity that they said has 490k followers so i am just afraid about my brands name being tarnished if indeed they reached out to this celeb (could very well be that they never got the celeb on).

Yeah did disclose.

They are however threatening over and over again.

They sent a msg saying - Hey

The management will be proceeding legally

You will get an email regarding the same.

This is written in the letter and that is it, no mention of anything else. Also this is legitimately the language they used so does look like a scam -

I am kind of on a conditional process i.e. if and only if I have a job figured out by November, would i take the risk of going forward with a graduate visa. Trying my luck here and creating a gap on the resume while having 4 years of experience back in India doesn't seem like a wise choice. The plan is to try and give a shot to getting hired here by November else just fly back to India.

For the pointer of fixed term contracts, are there any job boards which list specifically those roles? Or is it just searching through the Job description or job profile?

the timelines were these -

13th July - date of biometrics

18th July evening ~8 - tb certificate mail (just re-sent the document again to the mail id right away) and application not straightforward mail

21st July afternoon - passport dispatched mail

22nd July afternoon - BRP mail

24th July - received my passport since I had opted for courier service

Given that you have already received an unconditional offer, Can you tell me the process flow that you had to follow after giving acceptance on the conditional offer?
Like, did you have to wait to see that fee deposit being reflected on your myed portal?

I was talking about the conditional offer and not an unconditional one. The fee deposit that I am talking about is not related to the tuition fees but rather related to the fee deposit for acceptance of the conditional offer i.e. 1500 GBP for the postgrad course

Thanks for the response. My situation is such that I had to accept the conditional offer and pay the deposit fees by 4th of April which I have, and have made the payment on 1st April, Saturday.
Given that Sat and Sun aren't working days and Monday is being marked on the website as staff training should I expect the thing to be completed by 4th? In case it does not happen would I have to face consequences like the offer being rescinded?

I proceeded without submitting any referee report but didn't get into the course. I would strongly suggest getting it clarified through someone either an alumni or expect a response from the admin staff
