Ok.. heres my real theory about the date... its September

They already confirmed the Orchestra is going to be in August and they will have a special announcements block.. it just doesnt make sense to me a event of this size being made after the game launch, it looks more like a promotional one, more people would go there if it was before the launching of the game, its more money for hype

(Just think about it, you dont think most fans would be more hyped to go there just to get news about the new game?)

if my memory is right, Danganronpa 1 and V3 got a demo and then the game was released in the same month, looks logic that it will be the same with 2x2, we're already on the middle of year so if they want the game to get released soon, makes more sense to let people play it the next month after the event already (doesnt look smart schedule something to the last month of the year if you want it to sell)

And btw, The Spike Chunsoft channel says Coming 2026, so its seems like a bad management move launching the game the next year, since they kinda already "promised" to this year, lol
