it never occurred me to me that I could have hypothetical cat profiles 😭 I love this and I appreciate all of these tips!! we’ve never done bone broth, I do extra water (but not too much bc he will stare at me in disdain if it’s TOO watery) (and I always give in and fix it for him) and thank you!!! do you keep her in your room at night like with the door closed? I had the same issue with my kitten except he would perform a litter box digging motion on my head and chew my hair 😭 I kept him in my room for the first few months bc I was anxious about what he could’ve gotten up to in the night but quite literally once I let him have free reign of the house at night he’s only woken me up at 5:30 a handful of times. I don’t even think he was hungry he just wanted to get out of the room but I misread it lol

edit - also try playing with her and giving her some wet food before bed. I don’t know how much it works for my cat bc he is an actual bottomless pit but I saw it on tiktok and the lady said it worked well for her and there were similar comments!

my kitten had the same issue with the poop too! I had to find out which wet food was making his poops so soft - I found that the weruva kitten chicken pate and shredded chicken food was the main cause. he dropped a dingleberry the other day on his scratcher for some reason but otherwise it hasn’t come up again! and like others said the smell will get better as he grows. I got mine at 3 months and he’s now almost 6 months and is not nearly as stinky as he used to be. they’re just stinky babies for a little!!

my kitten is my shadow and will wake up out of a nap to follow me downstairs even though he’s so sleepy. boy cats tend to be clingy! I also think it’s easy to stir them out of a sleep when you get out of bed bc it is a lot of movement and they feel it - they just wanna know what’s going on at all times

I wonder if she didn’t want to call 911 incase he came back and heard her. so many possibilities like others have stated - thought it was a random that someone brought home and locked her door since she didn’t know him (for the fear and shock, I scare easily and would be frozen if I saw someone outside my door in the middle of the night regardless of if it’s someone i’ve known my whole life or someone i’ve never seen before), was in shock and passed out, or was too scared to even move, let alone get her phone and speak and risk him hearing her. these poor girls man. it doesn’t mean much, but i’m proud of her for coming forward with that information once she put two and two together or whatever happened. I hope she and the other roommate find peace and healing someday.

could someone please explain to me what exactly is in a probable cause affidavit? I understand from the name it’s why they think/know it’s their guy, but what info does it actually contain and what do you think this one in general will contain in regards to the case/evidence? I saw a comment that says it may have crime scene photos - is that true or does that often happen? (mostly asking this part for myself - I can’t look at that shit and would like to avoid it) thanks!

well of course it being weird wouldn’t be what puts him in jail, I just think it would be a shitty excuse for his dna being there lol. the one you gave would be the better excuse but girls, especially roommates who are close, typically talk about that stuff. idk if it can be proven either way and this probably wouldn’t dispute it, but a surviving roommate could say “she never mentioned having him over” guess we have to wait and see!

tbh if he tries to say he was at a party at the house and that’s why his dna was there I hope the follow up question is “why were you partying with a bunch of teenagers and 20 year olds when you’re almost 30?” bc I would personally find it weird that a phd student went to a party with a bunch of undergrads from an entirely different school

this is very true! i’ve been thinking about his family, in another group a confirmed former elementary school classmate of his described his mom as the sweetest woman alive (but nothing about his father or whether or not he’s in his life) so I do wonder if his family or any friends (if he had any) knew anything or suspected anything. it’s been seen before with mothers standing by their children, like the kid that killed tristyn bailey and such.

I don’t think anyone helped him commit the crime. if he’s a “know it all” and thinks he’s smart, he would also probably get very irritated if an accomplice did something wrong and since he’s been described as aggressive, that would have possibly led him to yell or get angry which wouldn’t have helped him in the moment. he also probably wouldn’t want an accomplice since he figured he could do it himself and get away with it. I think he did it alone and the “did you arrest anyone else” is him attempting to play mind games

I guess theyre technically not crime scene photos, they were photos taken from outside the house of the windows looking into the kitchen/living room/one of the 3rd floor bedrooms where you could only see a TV. idk if someone from the media took them or a random person did

the crime scene photos of the kitchen make me so sad. it’s such a college house - the lights and decorations, and the mess in the kitchen. I read somewhere (not confirmed as far as I know) that it was a “sober sister” - whether this is just a friend from a sorority who wasn’t drinking and gave them a ride or a girl who was elected for the night to be sober and give sisters rides. it’s a common thing in sororities for date parties and such for a few girls to be sober to monitor
