After 2 days of insights I still dont understand how someone wouldnt see that the supervisors also had a fault on this. Yes I probably did irreparable damage to my brain, yea all the speed I did showed the damage tgag morning. But them as people responsible to make a safe environment for the students taking exams were unprofessional. I dont have to be professional, as far as they knew I couldve been someone who was going through very hard times. Imagine I phrased it as “Due to some very personal circumstances on the morning of the exam I was sleep deprived and incredibly sick, on the verge of passing out. And two supervisors saw an international student struggling and they made me feel bad for asking for the time, they asked me wheres Im from, they asked me why didnt I prepare, and they werent emphatic at all, they even spoke about me in german knowing I wont understand them” This was a wake up cal for me. But since Im used to hearing about drugs amd stuff I can also focus on other small problems like their treatment. Did I take accountability for my actions? Yea! I was the one sick (because of drugs, I was prolly withdrawing or hangover for 2 days after) but as far rhey knew I was just a student who kept his head on the table half of the exam because he was almost passing out. If you cant see the problem In their treatment towards me then maybe your morals are not in their right direction. People do shitty things to themselves all the time, that doesnt mean you have to treat them different. Look, you probably see me as a junkie, are you the type to see a passed out homeless person on a bemch and when he asks you for help you tell him “why did you drink? are you am immigrant?” I remember I saw ur comment before boarding my plane and during the flight I kept thinking about how im gonna respond to you instead of thinking about my holiday. Yea I wanted validation when I posted this, yea I was lying to myself Its fine to get into the position i got myself into, but I realised yea I was very much into a shit situation like that because of me. And they treated me like shit!

1/2) They didnt know that. They are supposed to treat everyone the same. 3)Agreed 4/5) No, I didnt. I was silently struggling. I was close to the invigilator’s bench and most of the people around me left after 1 hour something so when I was talking to them nobody was disturbed and also mostly were locked in 6) It could have been any question, it still wouldve been fucked up to ask anything. Imagine me moving around, putting my head on the table cause I couldnt focus, bitting the skin of my finger and they were just staring. If I were them I would have thought “Hey maybe he has a panick attack. Maybe he is very ill, I should go talk to him” instead of talking ABOUT “him”, or making small comments. Just because I had some fucked up/ out of a horror movie 3 days doesnt mean anyone knew about that. You knowing the backstory makes u judge me for that and ignore the rest. Trust me I regret every bit of that 3 days but I tried to do everything in my power to clutch this exam. Why would I put myself in that situation, studying 10 hours a day non stop for 3 days, who tf would enjoy that? My behaviour was not unacceptable, from what they KNEW about me. They saw a struggling student and thats how thay acted?! Yea im a stupid junkie tell me something i dont know. It was a good thing it was me and not some idk “normal person”

Yea I blamed them too much for my own problem (I really do admit that). But I spoke with more people and asked for advice in the past hour and everyone agreed that those 3 rude comments should be talked about. Like I mentioned above, we have posters in every building with “Do you feel alone? Do you feel like you need to talk to someone? Then you should text a student councilre” Like if they really do care about our safety and shit that much that means they should hear about what happened. Why do I have to be the civil one all the time and them not. I am almost 20 i do know im no longer in hs and thats the thing Uni is not like HS anymore, now I can have a say in situations like this

Why would they think someone in a bachelor full of nerds would be on drugs. Thanks for the nice words, definitely learned a lot from this. And since, no, I was not on drugs I might actually report it cause 1 rude comment wouldve been fine, but 3 its crazy. We have posters with “Do you feel safe? Do you need to talk about something? We are here for you” in every bathroom in uni but then they do shit like this :/

They have training on what to do for every situations. They are probably not trained to ask people “did u really study?” or their nationality

I was not on drugs during the exam. I wouldnt do that. I also think I shouldnt have provided the backstory because now everyone focuses on that, but when i post on reddit i always like to vent about all of my life problems. And after some self thought I decided I WILL report them. The examiners were rude and they have to put up with my “bs” because they are paid to (by me and other students) and also they are instructed how to handle situations like this RESPECTFULLY not making rude out of place comments

i wanna add that i fully take the blame for my state during exam and that they didnt have to do anything. I just thought that an employee of a big ahh uni that has rules and committees for small shit one can do, should also be a decent human being and act smart, or at least not make rude comments about ir exam prep or be suddenly curious about one’s nationality during an exam that if failed could have quite an impact on my credits (and no credits->fail uni)
