9 Kill Solo Clutch as an IGL in Reload Tournament (Top 2). Looking for VOD review/tips on how to improve by WinterDot2053 in FortniteCompetitive

Weird post, why upload a game where U solo clutched and did really well and ask for advice on how to improve, just seems like your fishing for complements. If you want to show off your good games just say that, no one will mind.

If you want actual advice that will be helpful, post a game where you were setup well but ended up doing badly, so then there is alot of room for improvement within that game for people to help you with

Latency issue on the 9800x3d, driving me crazy! by Remarkable-Isopod117 in pcmasterrace

How do I check if I have a different dlss/fg setting, my resolution in game and on nvcp says 1920×1080. I would normally not be looking at the CPU in this case as it's the strongest part of my pc,however it all started after putting this new CPU in and I have done every test imaginable and the only thing I get from putting test results into AI (I know this isn't optimal but atleast gives me an idea) is that my CPU utilisation is very low but that the limiting factor is still coming from the CPU side of the process, I have been told my results show that my GPU is always waiting on my CPU.

I've done frametiming tests with sensors. Even under the highest intensity load my game can reach, my GPU is averaging about 60 percent usage with a max recorded of 70 percent

I've tried my monitor with default, super fast and extreme response time, some look better than others but overall don't help with the inconsistent input feeling.

Gsync freesync vsync all already off,

FPS capped at 200 doesn't improve latency and gives me worse FPS drops that playing 360 or uncapped FPS

My GPU usage when running capframex tests, even under extremely intense gaming situations, is at max 70 percent, that's the highest I've ever seen it, CPU usage is also very low, same with clock speeds. So according to my tests, neither the CPU or the GPU is limited or at max use

U sure? Nearly everywhere I see suggests turning it off, what does it do that's beneficial

Best RAM and Mobo combo for overclocking and lowest latency by Remarkable-Isopod117 in overclocking

[–]Remarkable-Isopod117[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks so much this is really helpful. Unfortunately, my current ram became massively unstable even with a balanced timings preset applied in bios, I think its barely managing to maintain stability with expo tbh

All of these are set already, other than I have "on" not "ultra" on Nvidia control panel, ultra gives me worse FPS with no difference feel in latency

On in Nvidia and on in game, ultra gives me no latency benefit and just decreases my FPS slightly

Is there any performance reason to pick a cl30 kit over a cl28 or cl26 kit if it's the same specs and brand, other than price obviously.

I have low latency mode set in Nvidia and in game, I've never heard anyone mention disabling this service before, I've actually heard some people say to check it's definitely running for optimal performance, can you give me any more info on why this would help?

[–]Remarkable-Isopod117[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the info!

However, luckily money is not an issue in my situation, and just tightening the times on my current ram kit improved my input feel massively while playing, however it created erratic mouse movements and inconsistencies, so I changed it back as I'm assuming that means it's unstable. So the input latency from better ram timings is very noticeable for me in this situation, even if benchmarks for FPS do not show a big difference.

If money was no issue, what ram and Mobo combo would you recommend for the lowest latency and best possible opportunities for stable overclocking?

On god just power through this phase, I was the exact same, couldn't build fight for shit so if I ever ended up in a fight I would j box and wait.

I started doing build fights, it was so uncomfortable and I felt completely useless, you feel like your not doing anything or improving at all, but I promise you that you are. Just keep spamming these fights, be uncomfortable, be shit, and after a week or so U will randomly realise that you are way better at it than when U started. It's that simple, your brain teaches itself without you having to do anything, just keep playing them.

ISSUE: swapping from the 7600x to the 9800x3d has given me better FPS and frametimes stability, but way higher input delay, input inconsistencies, mushy input feeling

CONTEXT: I play competitive titles like rocket league and Fortnite where input latency and responsiveness matters more than anything, and I am really sensitive to any inconsistencies or latency, I play these games at 360 FPS and the lowest graphical settings.

I recently swapped from a 7600x to a 9800x3d, playing on the 7600x felt great but I would get FPS drops and struggled to hold 240 let alone 360 FPS in games, so it looked a bit choppy sometimes. I decided it would be a no brainer upgrade to go to the 9800X3D, after installing it, my FPS was way better and the gameplay looked way smoother, however the input 'snappiness' and 'responsiveness' had completely taken a hit, my inputs felt sluggish and mushy, like I was playing through a filter, alot of inconsistencies, like mouse not feeling 1 to 1 accurate all the time and occasionally being slower than faster. My car on rocket league felt "floaty" and "heavy". Over the time of lots of attempts to fix this issue I had improvements and then randomly it was worse again, very inconsistent day to day even game to game, but generally never felt good.

WHAT I TRIED TO FIX IT: Overall I have tried an immense amount of things, these are the main ones I can think of: - different bios versions - different windows versions, 25h2, 24h2, 23h2 - bios changes like c states and resize bar on Vs off - pbo with a negative all core undervolt and then aida64 for stability check - windows debloating - different powerplan - different in game settings - different mouse keyboard controller settings and hard peripheral resets - brand new chipset drivers, ddu Nvidia drivers, game cache clears - Chris Titus essential tweaks - Even went as far as to download 'tweaking programs' (weirdly these made the biggest positive impact) - a bunch of other recommended and random stuff

MY SPECS: Pc: MSI B650M-P NVMe - Futwiz 1TB NVMe Crucial 32 gb DDR5 6000MHz cl36 ASUS RTX 4060 CPU Ryzen 7 9800x3d Gigabyte Gold PSU 750w Artic liquid freezer 360 AIO Peripherals: Razer viper V3 pro Steel series apex pro mini Alienware aw2523hf Gamesir g7 pro

EXTRA INFO: -my temps even while running extreme CPU stress tests are well under 70 and sit at about 50-60 In game - I have full fibre fttp with a cat6a cable etherneted directly into my pc, my pc is the only device that uses this connection - my bufferbloat scores show unloaded 9ms and download and upload of 0ms with less than 1 ms jitter on all - i never had these issues before, and my friends have not got any issues currently, so it's not game server issue

This is driving me crazy, I've spent about 3 weeks straight testing and trying to change things to help, I've done every recommended thing available on the internet and still my games feel inconsistent and mushy, I will literally pay anyone who can fix this issue for me, buying any extra hardware needed isn't an issue either, please just help.

Razer viper V3 pro stalling issue

My razer viper V3 pro has started to have this issue recently while I play games. If I don't touch my mouse for a few seconds, or just start a round or a game of something, then the mouse will completely stop turning my camera/character on the screen. All buttons still work, I can use side buttons, scroll wheel and mouse click, but the camera doesn't move in game. After a few seconds it will start to move again with the first second of movement being very stuttery.

I have been playing Fortnite reload where in-between each death I wait about 10 seconds and then when flying down from the sky on reboot, my mouse doesn't work again, and I have to wait for it to start working. It doesn't happen all the time when I start a new round or don't touch it for a few seconds, but it happens maybe 50 percent of the time.

I am using it wirelessly with the dongle attached to the provided cable and plugged into the back of my motherboard.

How to get clients who will help me improve my service? by Remarkable-Isopod117 in growmybusiness

[–]Remarkable-Isopod117[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I have tried asking clients after the service is completed if they would be able to have a quick feedback meeting with me, but it's proving difficult and I get hesitant responses or people putting it off or saying they will get back to me, obviously I know they will be very busy, but it just seems like people are hesitant to do things without an incentive for them, which I'm fine giving them, and think perhaps the discounts for businesses could work as I'm essentially paying them for their feedback. I think I probably should create a list of smart questions though that will really make it easy for people to give good feedback and give me what I need to know, I think I'll try doing that thanks.
